A pair of George III glass decanters and stoppers, early 19th century, with faceted neck and foot, etched swags and bands of decoration, 31cm high; together with an Edwardian pair of decanters with etched bodies decorated with swags, later stoppers, 31cm high (4) Provenance: The first pair, Sotheby's, 20 September 1994, lot 548. Condition Report: The first pair: base diameter 10.3cm. Each decanter with general scratches and marks to the underside, some light clouding to the bodies, light wear and scratches to the neck from contact with the stoppers, the stoppers each with scratching and very minor nibbles, consistent with age, each stopper has an old Sotheby's paper label attached. The second pair: base diameter 9cm, light scratching to underside, the bodies with a few scratches and bubbles, one stopper with minor nibbles and chips.

Palitoy - Action Man - A vintage Action Man Kit Locker, containing two vintage Action Man figures and a small group of accessories, plus an unboxed Action Man Assault Craft. * JAMES MCBEY (SCOTTISH 1883 - 1959), YACHT STATION, YARMOUTH watercolour on paper, signed, inscribed and dated 1920 image size 19cm x 29cm, overall size 43cm x 58cm Mounted, framed and under glass. Note: Born in Aberdeenshire in 1883, McBey began his career as a self-taught artist. Originally a banker by trade, by 1910 he had built up the artist confidence to pursue his art on a full-time basis - travelling throughout Europe, North Africa and America. In 1912 he travelled to Morocco with the artist James Kerr Lawson, and incorporated watercolours into his oeuvre. During the First World War McBey was commissioned as a war artist, travelling widely throughout the Middle East. In his later years, McBey lived primarily near Tangier in Morocco, although spent the final three years of the Second World War in America. After the war, he returned to live in Tangier but regularly returned to Britain and the United States. He died in Tangier, Morocco in 1959.
