An Eberhard Tazio Nuvolari/31030, having minute and hour chronograph dials, tachometer scales to perimeter of dial for speed in miles and kilometres per hour in a steel case on a tan leather strap, caseback with screws and with perlage finishing, commemorative inscription 1892-1992, with original case, box and guarantee cards.Tazio Giorgio Nuvolari was an Italian racing driver, having first raced motorcycles until concentrating on sports cars and Grand Prix racing. Overall he won 70 races and was called "the greatest driver of the past, the present, and the future" by Ferdinand Porsche.

Ireland, pair of covers relating to Daniel O’Connell (1775-1847) to include cover dated 1839 with postal mark signed Daniel O'Connell with black TP / Pall Mall and hs 2, plus further front signed by John O’Connell (1810-1858), dated 1838, third son of Daniel O’Connell. Daniel O’Connell, hailed in his time as The Liberator, was the acknowledged political leader of Ireland's Roman Catholic majority in the first half of the 19th Century. Very interesting pair. (2)

Two large Chinese famille rose 'lotus' stem bowlsQing dynasty, 19th centuryThe first, with 'shou' roundels on the turquoise interior and large leafy lotuses to the exterior, 26.6cm wide; the other enamelled with finger citrons and other flowers over the pattern of a lotus leaf, all on celadon ground, the interior with incised owner's character to glaze, 26.8cm wide (2).清十九世紀 粉彩繪蓮紋高足盌兩件Condition Report: The shou roundel bowl with expected surface wear including rubbing to enamels and some scratching. At least one rime nibble.The celadon bowl also with surface wear, nibbling to rim, and two large surface flakes to the exterior of the rim, one with associated short hairline. Further tiny hairline to rim.

Large curved body crack running from shoulder to above the foot (approx. 20cm long). Some nibbling to underside of rim.Baluster jar with rim slightly ground down and at least two short rim hairlines. Approx. 9cm long hairline to lower body. A further hairline to base.Expected firing imperfections and light surface wear.
