TWO 1936 BERLIN OLYMPIC ALBUMS OF PHOTOGRAPHS, ticket stubs, stamped postcards, the first album contains photos from 1936 and 1937 and includes on page two five separate photos of Adolf Hitler, in total there are forty five photos taken in 1936 and twenty five in 1937, two postcards are dated 05/08/1936 and with the special Berlin Olympic stamp, four ticket stubs for Baseball, Handball, Fussball and Hockey, two further postcards, dated 14/08/1936 and an outer envelope, two Hamburg arena stubs in red and white plus a souvenir newspaper, the second album is from the Berlin Winter Olympic and contains photos of Adolf Hitler, Herman Goring and Joseph Goebbels, in total there are ninety six photos of various sizes covering different topics of the Olympics, also in the album is a purple and yellow stub, postcard ticket and stub for Kombinations-Sprunglauf, this ticket has got a fold in it, both albums are in bound Olympic folders, the edges are dirty and marked in places, the albums come in a period suitcase with 1936 Berlin Olympia written on the front, it is not known if this photos were privately taken or are prints of originals, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request

Exceptional oil on canvas painting in quintessential turn-of- the Century Art Nouveau style. It represents the Virgin Mary holding Jesus and surrounded by two androgenous angels. Baby Jesus sits on her lap blessing the viewer with one hand raised as his mother looks down at the crown of thorn by her feet. On each side of Mary's stone throne, natural vistas with mounts in the distance are reminders of Golgotha where Jesus will be crucified. Otto Nowak painted this religious scene for the house of Art Nouveau architect Maximillian Hegele. Housed in the original custom made iron frame that includes two brackets used to hang in its first space.
