OASIS - Noel Gallagher Handwritten and Autographed "Don't Look Back In Anger" Lyrics - The lyrics for the Oasis song "Don't Look Back In Anger" handwritten and signed by Noel Gallagher. "Don't Look Back In Anger" was the fourth track on the band's second album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, which was released in 1995 and is widely considered one of the best albums of all time. It was also the first single to feature Noel on lead vocals. The lyrics are written in blue ink on a sheet of white lined paper, with the song title underlined at the top. Gallagher has autographed the right side of the paper in brown ink. The autograph ink has faded, and patches of water damage have caused minor discolouration. CLEOPATRA (1963) - The Costumi d'Arte Collection: Cleopatra's (Elizabeth Taylor) Introductory Dress - Cleopatra's (Elizabeth Taylor) introductory dress from Joseph L. Mankiewicz's historical epic Cleopatra. The Egyptian queen wore her dress when she first met Julius Caesar (Rex Harrison), having been snuck into his room in a rolled-up carpet. She was then rolled onto the floor in an iconic entrance. This lot comes from the archives of the Italian costume company Costumi d'Arte.At the time of its release, Cleopatra was the most expensive film ever made. It was nominated for nine Academy Awards and won four, including Best Costume Design. Taylor also set a Guinness World Record for the most costume changes in a film, with 65.The dress is made of orange suede and features a V-neck and waist-high splits down each side. Warner Bros. booked two shows at the Capri Theater in Minneapolis, MN, on the 5th and 6th of January, 1979, to promote Prince's debut album "For You". Mankiewicz's historical epic Cleopatra. Caesar wore his cuirass at the beginning of the film as he spoke to his soldiers after the Battle of Pharsalus, and also when he first travelled to Egypt. The cuirass screen matches these scenes through several distinctive marks and creases on the front plate. This lot comes from the personal collection of Matt Fink (known by his stage name Dr. Fink). Dated "29 August 1983", the script is bound by three brass pins, is credited to Magnoli and comprises 106 pages. The front title page is autographed in black marker pen by Fink. The ticket is for the film's premiere at Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on July 26, 1984, and "Matt" is handwritten inside. Also included in the lot are a promotional programme for Purple Rain and a printer's proof sheet showing designs for either a vinyl picture disc or promotional stickers. QUEEN - Nordoff and Robbins Collection: Framed Limited Edition "Bohemian Rhapsody" Vinyl Pressing - A rare framed limited edition blue vinyl pressing of Queen's celebrated song "Bohemian Rhapsody". This lot comes from the collection of Nordoff and Robbins and will benefit the charity. EMI Records Ltd. commissioned 200 limited edition special pressings of the song to commemorate the label receiving the Queen's Award to Industry for Export Achievement. The singles and other souvenirs were gifted to guests who attended a dinner at Selfridge's on 26 July 1978, where the Queen's Award was presented. The first 10 pressings were framed and given to band members, their management and EMI executives. The framed display features a 7-inch blue vinyl record with the sleeve's purple front and back covers. This example is numbered "5" out of 200. DISNEYLAND PARK - Space Mountain Ride Vehicle - A Space Mountain ride vehicle from Disneyland Park. First opened in 1977, Space Mountain is a steel-frame enclosed roller coaster with a "wild mouse" layout that relied on sharp flat turns, small hills and rapid hops as compared to other roller coasters with drops and dives.Space Mountain was Disneyland's second roller coaster after the Matterhorn Bobsleds, and the second version built with its exterior serving as one of Disneyland's iconic mountain-like landmarks. During opening, six of the original Mercury astronauts attended the ceremony and a new attendance record was set for Disneyland over the course of the Memorial Day weekend. One of the popular dark ride attractions with an immersive experience including sound effects and music, Space Mountain underwent a series of cosmetic renovations starting in 1997. During one of the ride refurbishments, speakers were added to the cars.This lot consists of a three-row, two-seater vehicle shaped like a rocket painted grey with white glow-in-the-dark panels and blue bucket seats. It is numbered "6" and features a red rubber front bumper, denoting it as the front car of a train, which is why the rear jets are absent. EDGE OF TOMORROW (2014) - Rita Vrataski's (Emily Blunt) Helicopter Blade Sword - Rita Vrataski's (Emily Blunt) helicopter blade sword from Doug Liman's sci-fi action film Edge of Tomorrow. Vrataski, the "Angel of Verdun," carried her blade on the battlefield during Major William Cage's (Tom Cruise) first day of combat and became the poster girl for the war, frequently pictured with her unique weapon of choice.The weapon is made of black-painted polyurethane shaped to resemble a helicopter tail-rotor blade, with foil fixed along the blade's narrow edge to represent sharpened metal. ALIEN (1979) - H.R. Giger-autographed Alien Ship Print - A framed print of the derelict ship from Ridley Scott's Alien. The print has been autographed by Swiss artist and Alien designer H.R. The ship underwent a number of design alterations, with most early concepts rejected by Scott on the basis that they were too "rational", when it was intended to be completely inhuman. AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON (1981) - Undead Jack's (Griffin Dunne) Prosthetic Hand - An undead Jack's (Griffin Dunne) prosthetic hand from John Landis' An American Werewolf in London. Jack was killed by a werewolf before returning undead with his body decaying.This latex hand was used in the scene towards the film's end where David (David Naughton) met undead Jack in an adult cinema in Piccadilly Circus. Dunne was required to assist with operating his character's puppet so that his dialogue could be synced with David's. This meant Dunne could not gesture, so the hand was applied to special effects assistant Joseph Ross instead. Ross then performed the gesture with the hand whilst keeping the rest of his body out of shot. The hand itself was designed by prosthetics supremo Rick Baker, who won the first-ever Academy Award in the Best Make-up category for his work on the film. CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND (1977) - Douglas Trumbull Collection: Set of Four Hand-drawn George Jenson Devil's Tower FX Storyboards - Four hand-drawn special effects storyboards by production illustrator George Jenson for the production of Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind. In the film, Claude Lacombe (Francois Truffaut) awaited the Mothership as Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) and Jillian Guiler (Melinda Dillon) scaled Devil's Tower. This set comes from the collection of special photographic effects artist Douglas Trumbull.Created by Jenson to coordinate which VFX were needed in the landing sequence, it consists of four sheets of storyboards hand-rendered and numbered "#39," "#1540" and "#1540 Cont" in black ink and marker on illustration paper with handwritten annotations throughout. The sheets are hand-marked "M14," "M15," "M16," and "M17 " in graphite. They exhibit rough edges from where the pages were torn out of a spiral-bound drawing pad, pinholes in the corners, minor discolouration, and rough perforated edges. De Ferriol''."The plates are after drawings by J. B. Van Mour who was established in Constantinople for many years during the first half of the 18th c. It has been suggested that he came to Constantinople in 1699, possibly as part of Ferriol's entourage. He is known to have died there in 1737 at the age of 66. Much of his work was done for Cornelius Calkoen, who was Dutch ambassador to the Porte, and some of these paintings are now to be found in the Amsterdam Rijkmuseum. This publication certainly contained the most popular and influential illustrations of Turkish dress to date. Its use as a source book was wide-spread." (Blackmer) .
