Patek Philippe Aquanaut wristwatch, men Patek Philippe Aquanaut wristwatch, men, reference 5066a-001, quartz. Black dial with Arabic numerals and date at 3 o'clock. Original black rubber strap and deployant-type fastener. The birth of the Aquanaut line is rooted in the economic and cultural climate of the late 90s. The Aquanaut model was launched in 1997 by Patek Philippe as the first sport model fitted with a rubber band, called the ”tropical”. Initially designed as a part of the Nautilus collection, hence the many common elements between the two models. The specimen presented in this auction was produced in 1999, the official launch year of the Aquanaut model. The wristwatch is considered by many collectors to be the reediting of the initial model, having the same case shape and 36 mm size, with the same features: dial with embossed decoration in the guilloché manner, "tropical" rubber bracelet, calibre 330sc. The model's limited run and its creation process place this wristwatch among the rarest and most coveted luxury items. d=35 mm

dating: 1878 provenance: USA, Round, rifled, cal. 44 rimfire barrel, with company's address and patents in two lines, with marking 'KING'S IMPROVEMENT', provided with fore-sight on the band and adjustable rear sight in two heights; brass frame, trigger, iron cock and lever, serial number '118xxx'; wooden butt and fore-end, the first with remains of a stamp on the left side, brass butt-plate complete with dismountable ramrod inside. Saddle ring on the left side. length 99,7 cm.
dating: 1889 provenance: USA, Round, rifled, cal. 41 Colt barrel for 4-1/2', with fore-sight, company's address marking in two lines and third line with patents of 1884 and 1888; caption 'COLT D.A. 41' on the left side. Cleaned core, visible groove. Long fluted, six-shot cylinder and rest dents on the back. Counterclockwise rotation. Frame with rampant horse. In working order both in double and single action. Antique bluing. Hard-rubber, checkered grip scales with inscription 'COLT' in relief and milling. SN '31xxx' under the grip. The first Colt revolver with swingout cylinder design. Produced in 31000 specimen. See 'Flayderman's Guide', 9th Edition, page 110, 5B-190. length 24,5 cm.
