A pair of clear glass decanters and stoppers, first half of the 20th Century, each conical body cut with a beaded band and lattice decoration, a pair of clear glass decanters and stoppers, each globular body etched with fruiting vines, and a collection of other clear glass decanters and stoppers (some faults).
A clear glass jar and cover with green opaque knop finial and circular foot, first half of the 20th Century, the flared cover and ovoid body engraved with stems of wild roses, three blue opaque Mary Gregory style glass vases, and a collection of clear and coloured glassware, including an amethyst jug and bowl, and six blue and clear glass wines.
A near pair of Etruscan style red figure black ground attic vases, of hydria form, each depicting scenes of Greek mythology, one decorated in red and white with a figure and horse within a temple flanked by four further figures opposing a design of anthemion, beneath a band of red, white and blue roundels and scrolls to shoulder, the other with further figures and inscribed `Kesandra` and `Tpoio Iepea`, height approx 37.5cm (the first with damaged rim, foot and handle, the other in numerous pieces).
Possible WWII Hungarian Jewish interest: Soft leather blotter with embossed colour decoration with "to Lorna Gascoine" plaque. Written on vellum inside is a beautifully written calligraphy letter, presumably to the Gascoine family: "We Hungarian's in Tangiers who are separated from our families have, since the German occupation of our country, been in complete ignorance of their fate. "After so many months of anxiety, we have, thanks to your generous intervention, at last obtained first hand news. For this humble act we humbly want to express our profound gratitude and respect."
