CHINESE 18TH CENTURY RETICULATED DISH,decorated in polychrome enamels with exotic bird amongst arrangement of blossoming flowers, unmarked, 28.5cm diameterCondition report: Chips, nibbles and fritting around the rim, majority of rim has lost the glaze, small chip leading to hairline visible on both sides from rim to first reticulated gap, scratches to centre and rubbing to decoration, one noticeable bit small chip to reticulated section, further fritting, abrasions and imperfections to the reticulated outlines, further scratches and rubbing to enamels to exterior decoration, firing imperfections, visibly to underside, additional images available
A WWI First World War interest autograph book belonging to one Ella C. Cadman, nurse, possibly Newcastle based, but also worked in the Bagthorpe Military Hospital. The autograph book filled with sketches, lots of intricate sketches of cap badges, poems etc. Cadman appears to have drawn a cap badge when she comes across someone from that regiment, then has each injured soldier sign their names under their relevant badge. Some laid-in photographs of soldiers and the hospital. Unique record, with some poignant poems noted.
An original WWI First World War 1916 dated trench fighting knife / dagger, with large open knuckleduster hilt. The hilt of crude brass construction, with a large crescent shaped ' knuckles ' section. Hand engraved ' 1916 ' with a shield ' 1 ' motif (1st Infantry?). Leading to a spear point doubled edged blade. Very possibly a private purchase / private made dagger. With leather scabbard. Measures approx; 32cm long.
Warrant Officer Leonard Albert Little 365880 - x3 original WWII Second World War interest photograph albums originally belonging to Little, all filled with photographs taken during his service in the 1930s and likely just before the outbreak of war. The first album (large brown album) starts in India 1930-1934 and shows: the Suez Canal, Gibraltar, Central Wireless Station 1931, Ambala, lots of telephone communication equipment, a crashed aeroplane, aircraft hangers, aircraft, hunting trips, Murree, Wireless Station No.1 Group RAF 1933, The Khyber Pass, 'Tornado Passing Near Peshawar,' various camps, a shot-down plane 'by Tribe', Gurkha displays, a cricket match, lots of 'native types', and many others. Well filled.The second album (decorative brown album) features: several of an RAF base, local views, HMT Dilwara, trips including Egypt, RAF Squadron photographs, sports, various ships, photographs taken in-flight, temples, and other views. Small format, well filled.The third and final album (smallest brown album) includes more generic views of places and people, some official images present. Again, well filled. Includes his official 1941 warrant and some loose paperwork / photographs. Interesting insight into a pre-war India.

The cross guard with muzzle ring leading to the ricasso stamped with Kings Crown above a faint ' 1907 Wilkinson '. Various proof marks to the other side Measures approx; 57cm long. Housed in a leather bound scabbard with webbing belt. Measures approx 57cm.
An original WWI First World War French ' nail ' type fighting dagger, comprising of a hand made oak hilt, with a steel knuckleduster grip, leading to a steel point blade. Possibly of French / Dutch origin. Housed in a custom made leather and brass scabbard. Hand carved to handle with a presumed date ' 15-17 ' and the name ' Frankrijk '. Unusual weapon, with US style knuckles grip. Measures approx; 27cm long.
A WWI First World War British Army medal pair and Memorial Plaque awarded to one 1377 Private E.J Waitt 1st / 10th Battalion London Regiment who died defending the Suez Canal, Egypt 20th September 1916. Comprising War Medal and Victory Medal, both with original ribbons (impressed 1377 Pte E.J Waitt. 10 - Lond. R) and Memorial Plaque. Also included is a printed certificate from the Commonwealth War Graves stating where he was buried at the Suez War Memorial Cemetery along with details about his family.
