1998 BMW Z3 1.9 Roadster Reg. No. S627 YHK, finished in silver with a red leather interior, MOT expired June 2008. mileage circa. 52,000N.B. The car has been dry stored since it was taken off the road, it is currently a non runner, supplied with keys, book pack and V5. Condition report: There are four former keepers according to the V5, there is a service book containing six service stamps, with the last one on 18th June 2007 at 57,639 miles. The car is a deceased estate sale, so it is not clear why the car was first taken off the road.

First World War Memorial (Death) Plaque named to Thomas Aubrey Barnes together with War and Victory medals named to B- 19967 PTE. T. A. Barnes. R.Fus. Along with his medals and memorial plaque is various ephemera including a photograph of him, a letter of condolence from his commanding Officer to his parents and a photograph of his grave in France. Private Thomas Aubrey Barnes was born on 26th June 1894 in Brightlingsea, Essex, joining the 26th (Bankers') Battalion Royal Fusiliers on 18th November 1915, we was killed in action at the age of 22 on 14th July 1916.

Rare fragment of marble from the desk of Adolf Hitler, the Reich Chancellery, Berlin. Formerly the property of Section Officer Peggy Lillian May Hack WAAF. Peggy Hack joined the WAAF as an Airwoman on 16th July 1940, receiving a commission to the rank of Section Officer on 3rd October 1944. As the War in Europe came to an end Peggy became one of the first two British Servicewomen to enter Berlin, visiting the Reich Chancellery, where she acquired the marble fragment. During the visit Peggy and her colleague Section Officer B. Hampston were photographed by Flight Lieutentant N S Clark, the RAF's official photographer inside the Hall of Mosiacs. The photograph of Betty, along with another one of her meeting Soviet female soldier Maria Limanskaya are available to view on the Imperial War Museums website. The desk fragment is supplied with a letter of provenance, copies of Section Officer Hack's Service papers and copy photographs of her in Berlin. N.B. Colouration of marble matches exactly with another fragment sold by these rooms 25th August 2016 for £6,100 - lot 610
