A Diamond and White Stone Set Mourning Brooch, a round white paste stone over a black enamel panel, to pointed sides, each inset with rose cut diamonds, with bead decoration, length 5.8cm, in box, and A Sardonyx Mourning Brooch, an oval sardonyx within a rope twist frame, to an outer border of round sardonyx with bead decoration, length 4cm (2). The brooches are in good condition. Both fasten with pin and hook catches, and the first features a safety chain. Neither bear any hallmark, nor stamps. The first is assumed gold. Weight 24.8 grams. A Victorian Brooch, of oblong form with beaded outer edge and plaited hair encased, length 5cm (a.f.) and A 15 Carat Gold Seed Pearl Bar Brooch, 1900, with bead and scroll work details and a diamond set heart pendant, length 4.5cm (2). Good condition overall. Both fasten with pin and hook catches. The first bears no hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion would test as gold (excluding pin). The second is hallmarked with maker's mark 'M&V', Chester, 1900. Gross weight 15.2 grams. CR 03.04.19

The brooches are in good condition. The first fastens with a pin and revolver catch, the second with a pin and hook catch and features a safety chain. Gross weight 36.3 grams. CR 04.04.19

A Chinese blue and white yenyen vase with figures in a landscape, Kangxi ----- H.: 45 cm Condition: (UV-checked)- With two restored hairlines running down from the rim of ca. 12 and ca. 5 cm, the first with a related chip on the rim filled and retouched. Both with related overspraying. Mounted in an accordion folio. Inscription on folio cover: åŽå宥, Hua Ziyou, an early 20th century Guangdong artist. The first image in the folio bears two seal marks. 1984 SCOTTISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD MEDAL, awarded to Stewart McKimmie, the obverse with central shield shaped plaque with red enamelled lion rampant motif, surrounded by enamelled thistle motifs and blue enamel border inscribed 'Scottish Football League Championship', the reverse inscribed 'Premier Division Winner 1983-84', 42mm high including bale, maker JWB, in nine carat gold, 11.7g, in box signed by the player Note: Although unengraved, this medal was purchased from Stewart McKimmie by the current owner. Aberdeen were champions during the 1983-84 season, this being the first of two consecutive titles, and second of three under manager Alex Ferguson.

Director Aberdeen F.C. S.A. Tour 1927' and 'Wm. Phillip', 36mm high, maker RMP, marked 375, 17.6g Note: In 1927 Aberdeen became the first Scottish club to visit South Africa, playing a total of fourteen matches. The tour wasn't the first time the club had ventured into the great unknown, playing a number of fixtures in Eastern Europe in 1911. The trip proved a great success with the team winning eight of their games and losing four.
THE ENGLISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE CUP SILVER MEDAL 1991, the obverse with central trophy motif, within blue enamel border inscribed 'The Football League Cup', the reverse inscribed 'Finalists 1990-91', maker V&S, in silver, 12.8g Note: The 1990-91 English Football League Cup was contested between Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester United, with the Yorkshire winning 1-0 to secure the Football League Cup for the first time. This runners-up medal would have been awarded to one of the United squad.

With the second leg, held at Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen achieved a 2-0 victory to win their second ever European trophy.

This period proved prosperous for the club, who went on to win the Charity Shield in 1908 and subsequently the FA Cup in 1909. This gold medal was awarded to Jack Nuttall for his role as assistant trainer for the side.

Conn 1970-71', maker J.W.B., in nine carat gold Note: Alfie Conn jr. was the first post-WWII player to play for both Celtic and Rangers. Conn would help the light blues to a 2-0 victory over Clyde F.C. in the 1971 Glasgow Cup, a knockout tournament open to clubs based in the city.

First Edition, complete with list of subscribers, errata, and all blank leaves, with 83 folding engraved plates, contemporary gilt-ruled calf, with book plate for 'BAGGRAVE LIBRARY'; First edition of the most influential optical textbook of the eighteenth century.Note: This book became the standard work on optics in its time and was translated into French, Dutch and German. Divided into four books, the first 'A Popular Treatise' deals in a non-technical manner with the fundamental experiments in optics, while the second 'A Mathematical Treatise' provides a more formal treatment of the geometrical theory of the subject, the third book A Mechanical Treatise' describes apparatus for grinding and polishing lenses and specula, the fourth book 'A Philosophical Treatise' gives a history of telescopic discoveries, there is also a good chapter on microscopes with good illustrations.
