The ‘London Official Paid’ cover addressed to Sir Charles Gage Brown KCMG ((1826-1908) former medical adviser to the Colonial Office) from Charles (later Sir) Prestwood Lucas at the Colonial Office, with red ‘London Official Paid’ stamp and feint black Secretary of State stamp. The reverse with Gerrards Cross receipt stamp dated 5am July 19th 1902 and Slough 1.30am transit stamp. All addressed to two generations of the Gage-Brown family, mostly at 7 Hans Place and 88 Sloane Street (26)
