Royal Interest, the Queen Mother's Wartime Ration Book issued by the Ministry of Food, the various Food Coupons inside unredeemed and cancelled, the Ration Book bears the Ministry of Food Headquarters stamp of Colwyn Bay, Serial No. R 715079 and the National Registration number appears as AYDP 1: 2, the Ration Book comes complete with letters of provenance and research detailing how the Vendor came to possess this piece of historical War Time importance.
Two Georgian silver hallmarked tankards The first of baluster form raised on a spreading circular base, engraved with monogram and flanked by 'S' scroll loop handle, unidentified makers mark, possibly Solomon Hougham, London, 1798, 13cm high, 13.2oz, the second with tapered straight sides and wide 'S' scroll loop handle, engraved with 'G.F.F' monogram, 11.5cm high, unidentified makers marks, London 1852, 9.2oz (2). CONDITION REPORT: The baluster mug dated 1798, some traces of solder around the oval supporting the top of the scroll handle, some solder to the left of the lozenge shape support of the lower part of the scroll handle, minor dents to the rim, surface scratching to the body of the mug some dents to the swelling base, some dents to the swelling baluster lower part, some minor dents to the rim of the foot.
