Four Victorian copper jug measures, a jelly mound and a small scallop shaped bowl. Tallest 24 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The jelly mould has numerous small dints to the top and to just over the sides but the remainder of the body appears to be free from faults. It is unmarked. The scalloped bowl although slightly rubbed and pitted with metal polish appears to be in good order. The large jug has solder repairs around the spout, a further solder repair below the handle. The underside metal is very dinted and has a solder repair. The handle has one large and a few small knocks. The body has discolouration, surface scratches and knocks. The inverted tapering smaller jug has a large dent to the side and further small dents and knocks throughout the body. A solder repair to the handle spilling into the rim of the jug. The bulbous jug has a solder repair to the handle at the rim. A small spot of solder to the interior of the jug rim. There are small knocks to the handle. Other than those faults mentioned it is in relatively good order and carries a mark for Benham & Froud. The side pouring chocolate mug has a small scrolled capped handle and is initialled below the spout JPH. This is in relatively good order with no significant faults. This is also struck to the underside with a stamp for Benham & Froud.
Five Victorian pewter tankards, each with brass rim, four graduated from pint to quarter gill, the largest dated 1829. Tallest 16 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The largest tankard has an engraved inscription across the front (opposite the handle) which has been partially erased and is illegible. The date stamp is a crown above the letter R and the number 29 all within an oval. The pint tankard is struck for ER and initialled ABHJ, the gill tankard is also stamped ER and with initials ABHJ. It is struck to the underside for Farrow & Jackson, London makers. The half gill measure is stamped JHB and GR beneath a crown, stamped to the underside for Farrow & Jackson, London makers. The quarter gill tankard is struck GR 346 and is stamped to the underside for WR Loftus Limited. All tankards have small dints and surface scratches but are in good order with no tears or splits visible.
A William Wheatland yew wood and elm Windsor armchair, with pierced splat back, solid seat, turned legs and stretchers. Width across arms 56 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The chair is in structurally very good order. There are no loose joints. The back hoop and all spindles have no movement. The arm supports are in good order. The seat does have some old stress fractures running from the base of the arms into the centre dish but again there is no movement here. There is no damage to the splat back. All legs are in good order with no repairs that we can see. On the underside of the seat there are two old screw repairs where the stress fracture occurs. There is no makers stamp.
A William Wheatland yew and elm Windsor armchair, with pierced splat back, solid seat and crinoline stretchers. Width across arms 63 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The chair is structurally sound with no loose joints. The top hoop, spindles and splat back are all in good order with no issues. The turned front arm supports and arms are in good order. The seat has a stress fracture right across the middle and a further smaller one to the left hand side by spindle 4. When the chair is turned upside down there are two old supporting blocks. There is no movement on the seat at all. The legs are all in good order as are the stretchers. Both rear legs have traces of old woodworm and a form of stain over. The rear crinoline stretcher supports have both been glued into position. The front left leg has some old stress fractures but no movement. The front right hand leg is slightly splayed at the foot. There are is no makers stamp.
A vintage G Plan Tola and Black dining room suite, 1957, the four chairs with butterfly backs, printed marks for Ernest Gomme. Sideboard 149 cm wide, 85.5 cm high, 6 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: It would appear that the top of the sideboard has been covered, however the left hand side approximately 38 cm long x 3 cm deep has varnish blistering. All drawers and cupboard doors operate as they should. The carcass just below the cupboard doors has the varnish crazing and lifting but I stress that this is only the varnish lifting. Overall the sideboard is in good order with a visible stamp mark on the rear. The chair has a small fingernail size chip to its back rim which has been darkened down and there is a small recent knock on the front of the back rest, again this is a minor thing. Another chair has a small bruise along the bottom front rim but in general all the chairs are in good order. The dining table is in good order throughout. The chair seats are 43 cm from the floor, 47 cm wide. The table is 75.5 cm high and 84 cm deep, 54 cm when closed, 1 meter 37.5 cm when open. This furniture has been in the same family since new and well looked after.

8th-5th century BC. A carved white marble stamp seal depicting a Persian king and lion, accompanied by a museum quality impression and a copy of a typed, and signed scholarly note by the late W.G. Lambert, Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham 1970-1993, which states: 'Stamp seal of white marble, 15 x 12 x 19mm., and octagonal dome. The Achaemenid Persian king about to stab a rearing lion. Mesopotamia or Syria, c. 500-300 B.C.'. 4.61 grams, 19mm (3/4"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s; inventory number 111. Very fine condition.

Lambert, Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham 1970-1993, which states: 'Stamp seal of lapis, a scaraboid, 21 x 18 x 11mm. A walking sphynx above a rearing lion and a scorpion and fillers. Syria, c. 500-300 B.C.' 5.66 grams, 21mm (3/4"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s; inventory number 104. Fine condition.
Asia Minor, 8th-6th century BC. A bronze bell-shaped stamp seal with suspension ring to the top above two addorsed eagle heads; discoid stamp with horse and rider, pellet and moon filler to the top, fish to the side. 22.7 grams, 27mm (1"). Property of a respected gentleman, from his private collection formed 1965-2018. Extremely fine condition.
3rd-7th century AD. A chalcedony stamp seal with domed body, engraved to the underside with three figures holding hand, quadruped to the top and bottom. See Gyselen, R.
