WW2 German Battle Flag (Reichskriegsflagge), good example of a printed cotton double sided battle flag with central swastika and Iron Cross to the corner. Enforced taped edge with ink Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp and ‘Reichskriegsflg 1.5 X 2.5’. Some holes and moth nips, corners with period repairs. Measures 250 x 134cms.
1889 Pattern Staff Sergeants Sword for the Royal Army Medical Corps, regulation polished blade stamped WILKINSON SWORD COMPANY LONDON with Board of Ordnance and government inspector’s stamps and issue stamp for 1891, regulation brass guard stamped 2. W.L.F.A. R.A.M.C. 4, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its scabbard (minor dents) and 2 fixed suspension rings, stamped 2. W.L.F.A. R.A.M.C. 4 (the former initials party erased). Good condition, blade retains nearly all original finish.
2x Closely Similar Turkish Swords Yataghan, 19th Century, the first with maker’s blade stamp, elongated bolsters covered with nicely embossed silver sheet, 2 piece horn grips, plain zinc gripstrap, in its leather covered scabbard; and another closely similar. The first in good condition with some age wear and a little rust, 1 grip chipped at pommel, a little damage to leather; the second in slightly worse condition with heavily corroded bolsters. Blades 59cms and 65.5cms respectively.
WW1 British Made American Officers Small Pack, fine example of a khaki canvas and brown leather based small pack with leather shoulder strap. The flap is inked ‘LT. C. T. EGOLF Q.M.C’. Underside of flap with manufacturers stamp of ‘ANDERSONS BRISTOL RUBBER Co LTD’ date 1918 and broad arrow with ‘US’ underneath. Generally good condition.
WW1 Roold Pattern Aviators Flying Helmet, good example of the brown leather cork aviators flying helmet known as the Roold pattern. The helmet has the original ear flaps and short neck guard. Interior with leather sweatband and quilted cloth lining. An ink stamp appears in the crown of the helmet. Some light service wear but generally a very good example. This pattern of aviators helmet was favoured by allied pilots from Britain, France and Belgium.

Third Reich RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) Labour Service Enlisted Mans Dagger / Hewer by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, untouched example with stag horn grip, steel fittings to handle. Housed in its original scabbard with RAD emblem to the bottom chape. Fixed hanging strap bar. Standard Hewer type blade with motto ‘Arbeit adelt’ and reverse with acceptance stamp and makers trademark. Blade 24 ¾ cms, overall 39 ½ cms.
Imperial German Infantry Regiment Nr 74 (1st Hannover) Other Ranks Pickelhaube with Original Trench Cover, fine untouched example of a leather shelled Imperial German other ranks pickelhaube with fine other ranks gilt metal Prussian eagle helmet plate with ‘WATERLOO’ scroll. Brass front trim, circular spike base with domed rivets, other ranks spike and rear spine. Prussian state and reichs pattern other ranks cockades with its original leather chinstrap attached. Interior of the helmet has the original leather liner. The rear peak is stamped with the regimental stamping but the numbers have been removed but you can make out the ‘74’ held to the right light, interestingly the army depot number has also had the numerals rubbed out. Shell has inked makers stamp and the size stamp. The helmet is complete with its original cloth trench cover which is inked to the interior with regimental details ‘J.R. 74’ and dated 1904. The cover is complete with the three front hooks and two rear. This helmet is fresh to the market and has not been offered before, directly from the family of the British veteran who souvenired the helmet from WW1, so no reason to remove the numbers from the inside.
Oswald Mosley British Union of Fascists (B.U.F) Constitution and Regulation Book, fine hardback original period copy believed to have been removed from the St Pancras District office, the book has ink stamp to the title page ‘THIS BOOK IS THE PROPERTY OF THE BRITISH UNION OF FASCISTS AND NATIONA SOCIALISTS AND IS NOT TO BE REMOVED’. 96pp with gilt tooling to the cover and spine. Accompanied by a fine leather bound and gilt tooled edition of ‘Tomorrow We Live’ by Sir Oswald Mosley with signature of the leader of the organisation to the image of him inside. Imperial German S84/98 Bayonet, with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and short cross guard. Housed in a steel scabbard. Rear of the cross guard stamped with regimental markings, ’12. R. 4. 240’. Single edged blade with fuller to the back edge. Spine stamped with acceptance stamp and crowned ‘W’ over 87. Base of the blade with makers mark ‘ALEX COPPEL SOLINGEN’. Blade 25cms, overall 39 ½ cms.
French Made Cavalry Troopers Sword Possibly for the Confederate Army in American Civil War, regulation single edge blade cut with single broad and single narrow fuller on both sides with small crowned C inspector’s stamp, regulation brass triple bar hilt with laurel in relief to pommel and geometric decoration to hilt bars, one piece horn grip (grip wire mostly missing). Good condition, age worn overall, blade lightly pitted, straightened crease to guard. Blade 89.5cms. The Confederacy ordered many weapons from manufacturers in France and other parts of Europe to equip their army during the American Civil War.

The piece with two birds on a branch has a Crown Staffordshire bone China stamp and measures 7"L x 2.5"W x 5"H. The other bird piece is an American Goldfinch that measures 4.25"L x 3"W x 4.25"H. Both pieces have the J.T. Jones mark on the bottoms. Artist: J.T. JonesCondition: Age related wear. One wing on each bird was broken off and re-glued. There are small chips in some of the flowers.
