A Mintons bleu celeste and gilt decorated coffee set comprising fifteen cups and thirteen saucers together with a set of ten Mintons floral spray bleu celeste and gilt decorated cabinet plates bearing impressed and gold printed mark for "Daniell Wigmore St London" CONDITION REPORTS Floral spray decorated plates - over all visually appear in good condition and ring clear though some plates with firing fault to the underside of the border in the form of darker flecking. All bear Daniell gold or puce stamps. Turquoise banded coffee cans all bearing Mintons puce stamp or variation thereof. Twelve cans ring clear, three sounding dull though can see no signs of damage. Six saucers appear in good condition though with wear and tear conducive with age and use. Seven saucers with heavy crazing to the turquoise glaze and marks, one with large crack - see images for further detail

Some pieces with Minton marks, some with Minton/Phillips marks. Aesthetic bird decorated set - over all visually good condition. Three plates have good fine ring, two sound slightly dull though no damage can be seen. Muffin dish cover also sounds slightly dull. Saucers all ring clean. All pieces have some signs of minor scratching/surface wear conducive with age and use - see images for examples

A WWII US M1 steel helmet used by the US Navy, painted grey with factory cork finish. Complete with liner, liner chinstrap, helmet chinstrap and leather headband. Shell manufactured 1943-4, stamped 851A with front seam and hinged chinstrap retaining brackets. Liner painted grey, has Seaman Paper Company stamp mark and named to SG Sechet. Being sold as part of a private collection.
A British Home Front MkII No.2 C type steel helmet labelled ARP CONTROL on front crown. Painted black over grey, 3 holes in side of brim, helmet stamped JSS. Liner with cross shaped pad with unusual maker stamp mark LWL. Complete with chinstrap - inscribed with wearer's name M JUNKIN. Being sold as part of a private collection.
AN EDWARDIAN ARTS AND CRAFTS SILVER LARGE DESK STANDISH, maker John Edward Wilmot, Birmingham 1909, the plain oblong base centred by a triple compartment stamp box, the hinged cover engraved with an extensive presentation inscription dated 1909, flanked by a pair of heavy clear glass inkwells with silver mounts and hinged covers, a pen well to the fore with entrelac angles and two applied pierced trefoil handles, the whole with "rivetted" mounts, encasing a probably wood core, 22" wide over handles (Illustrated) (Est. plus 21% premium inc. VAT)Actual base 15 1/4" x 8 3/4" x 1 3/4". Inscription somewhat worn, stamp box hinge slightly sprung. One inkwell cover requires a new pin for hinge, the other a little loose. One well good bar tiny chips, the other has chips to base (obvious when in holders). The base appears to be plated metal so unable to see exactly what the "core" is

VAT)Lacks crystal roller. Lacks one central ruby to bow which also lacks one end of ribbon, the bow with the ruby lacks both ends of ribbon and is slightly loose on pin holding it to nephrite. Very small chips to top outer edge, small bruise to inner rim. Bottom edge of side with three rubies has small bruise to left foot, tiny chip just right of centre and similar far right foot
