A George Jones majolica serving dish, decorated a fox, with Victorian registration stamp to base (ears chipped) 26 cm wide Condition report Report by GH The fox mounted on the rim of the dish has one badly chipped ear with discolouration on the chip, the other ear is slightly chipped. The front rim of the dish has a small glaze chip to the right hand side and the dish has general minor crazing over the top surface. The underside of the dish and the base both appear to be in good condition.
COINS, 錢幣, CHINA – SYCEES, 中國 - 元寶, Shansi Province: Silver Tael Sycees (2), each with single character stamp “Fu”, 35.73g and 33.75g (Cribb type XXV); various cast brass amulets, potters’ stamps and cash coins, including a few later copies (17). Mostly very fine. (19pcs) according to the consignor these pieces were acquired by an English lady who was a nurse in Tientsin in the 1930s
