A First World War German Demag Crank Handle Bayonet/Trench Knife, the 14.5cm double edge diamond section steel blade stamped Demag/D.R.G.M. to one side of the ricasso, the spine with inspector's stamp, with blued recurving crossguard, each side of the two piece steel crank handle with four peened rivets, with steel scabbard and leather retaining strap, the press stud fastener stamped with a snowflake type design, the whole with a thick sandy green coating, 27.5cm. The coated finish may be later, flaking off on parts of the scabbard. The leather strap has cracking to the surface. There are some orange rust spots to exposed parts of metal. The leather washer between the blade and crossguard is missing.

The Fleuron: A Journal of Typography, vol.2, 3 & 5-7 only (of 7), all but vol.5 deluxe limited editions on hand-made paper containing additional material and signed by one of the editors, specimens, plates and illustrations, some folding, some printed in colours, a few tipped in, vol.1 with stamps neatly removed from foot of title and front pastedown, vol.2 with small Library of Congress ink stamp to rear pastedown, light staining to lower edge of some leaves of Gill's 'Passion of Perpetua and Felicity' section, plate of 'Madonna and Child' creased at lower corner where folded in, original cloth, mostly buckram, gilt, some with t.e.g., all uncut, a little rubbed especially spine ends of vol.2 & 3, vol.5 & 6 with a few stains, vol.7 spine faded, 4to, London, Cambridge & New York, 1924-30 (5)⁂ The limitations vary from 120 to 210 copies but with a maximum therefore of 120 complete sets. These contain additional inserts including illustrations by Eric Ravilious and David Jones (one signed) in vol.6 and by Eric Gill in vol.7. Vol.7 is also signed by Eric Gill on the specimen of his Perpetua type and numbered & signed by Stanley Morison at the end on colophon.

A LATE AND VERY RARE 19TH CENTURY FRETLESS BANJO CIRCA 1890-93 with map inlays, ivory pegs and a metal fingerboard up to the fifth fretmarker, with ivory maker's palque which reads "S. S. STEWART PHIL'A. PA" along with identical wood stamp, serial no. 6124 and trademark S.S.S. all stamped to the dower stick with matching stamps to inside rim, lacking tailpiece, bridge, nut, 3 x tuning pegs and several inlays. 0 - 12th fret = 322mm. 85.5cms overall (64.5cms Scale).
