Moorcroft for Liberty & Co of London; a Hazeldene pattern bottle vase of waisted form, in pale greens and blues, signed in green to the base, with 'Made for Liberty & Co.' stamp, registered design no.397964, impressed number 148, height 15cm. CONDITION REPORT Crazing to the glaze throughout, though no obvious signs of further significant damage or repair.
A mixed group of ceramics to include a Carltonware English stamp Art Deco 'Sketching Bird' pattern trumpet vase with impressed number 217 to the base, height 15cm, a Royal Worcester flameproof dish, a small Mintons bowl and two Hancock Caulfield and Waller Burleighware ceramic drip trays, marked 'Williams & Humbert' to the rim (5).
UNATTRIBUTED; a c1930 oil on Birchmore Board, Pre-Raphaelite style study of a young lady in chapel playing the organ while her young admirer sits and watches, indistinctly signed lower-left, with 'George Rowney & Co Birchmore Board' stamp to the back, 28.5 x 21cm, framed and glazed. CONDITION REPORT There are no obvious signs of significant damage or repair to the painting, frame has been cut down to narrow it. 37 x 27cm overall.
