An interesting New Zealand military issue .577” Snider 2 band military rifle, 49” overall, barrel 30¾” with ordnance proofs and inspector’s marks and with bayonet lug at muzzle, the breech and stock stamped with broad arrow and “NZ 88/632”, the lock simply marked “1862” and with ordnance inspectors stamp; walnut fullstock with regulation brass mounts, sling swivels and original steel ramrod.
