A rare pair of 19th Century Order of the Garter service side plates from Windsor Castle. Each with blue and gilt rims and the centre with hand-painted motifs of St. Edward's Crown above the Order of the Garter banner inscribed with the motto, 'Honi soit qui mal y pense'. The reverse each with now faint remnants (purposely scorn) of the Mortlock factory stamp inscribed, 'Mortlock is Regent St, Windsor Castle. Diameter: 22cm. (2)Condition report: These plates are in good order but show the signs of scratches from usage the scratches do not detract from the appearance of the plates.
A 19th century Belleek Irish porcelain 1st period grasses pattern tea service. Hand painted with grasses and flowers and tassle design to handles on an ivory background. The teapot has a goose head design to the spout and printed instructions to the inside of the lid. Makers stamp to the base.

The Earl of Snowden and Carl Toms, a red painted beech and laminate elbow chair produced for the Investiture of the Prince of Wales the back gilt decorated with the Prince of Wales feathers and motto Ich Dien with a padded seat 77cm high, 4000 of these chairs were produced for the 1969 Investiture at Caernarfon Castle North Wales, together with an investiture cushion CONDITION REPORT: Manufactured by disabled workers at the Remploy factory in Bridgend, the chairs have beech wood frames with seats and backs constructed from preformed plywood, veneered in olive ash and stained in a vermillion red. The backs are embossed with the Prince of Wales’s feathers in gold leaf and the seats are upholstered in red Welsh tweed, using a stable dye that would not run onto the guest’s clothes in case of a Welsh downpour. The underside of the seat bears a Prince of Wales feathers stamp, the date and - obscured by the upholstery - individual handwritten numbering. The chairs were offered for sale after the ceremony and sold flat-packed for £12 each via a promotional advertising leaflet that encouraged guests to re-assemble the chairs for themselves

A Victorian Minton Parian ware figure "Dorothea" by John Bell, bearing relief mark, circa 1847-8 for Summerley's Art Manufacturers (see "The Parian Phenomenon" 1989 P67 Fig. 90 for similar example), 33 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Whilst basically sound, there is a large to the figure's right shoulder and left shoulder, the maker's stamp is chipped. There is also a small chip and hole to the figure's right side of jacket and firing crack to the base. The whole piece is slightly grubby - finger marks, etc, arguably requiring cleaning. A 19th century French Boulle marquetry desk stand, with hinged stamp compartment and single drawer below (no inkwells), 35cm x 26cm Good untouched original condition but inkwells missing. There are some slightly bent sections either side of the drawer. Most of the tortoiseshell and brass is in tact, there are some very small sections missing but in overall complete condition.
