WW2 1940 Pattern The Black Watch Royal Highlanders Officers Battle Dress Blouse, good example with single red backed rank pips to each shoulder, embroidered 51st Highland Division formation sign, two red felt brigade bars on khaki backing and crudely made tartan Black Watch Royal Highlanders regimental sign. Original size label to the interior and WD stamp with date letter “N” above for 1943. Good used example with some light areas of moth.
Imperial German Artillery Pattern Luger Pistol Holster and Wooden Stock Set, an excellent untouched original set, complete with the original stripping tool and wooden cleaning rod. The holster is stamped with feint issue stamps, 1915 date and makers stamp underneath the top flap. The wooden stock stamped with Imperial acceptance stamps. Complete with the original leather shoulder strap and top securing strap. Some areas of dry leather and flaking, securing strap damaged but still present. Very rare complete set.
Third Reich NSDAP Area Leaders Armband, an unusual multi-piece construction armband for the NSDAP with faded black cloth tabs to the top in the style of the Allgemeine-SS armbands. The armband has ink stamp of an NSDAP district and has been personalised when taken as a souvenir with the dates “1946” and “1940” inked.
Attributed WW2 Luftwaffe Belt Buckle, good example of an aluminium 2nd pattern Luftwaffe belt buckle complete with its original leather tab which is dated 1939 and Josef Felix Sohne stamp. Buckle is also stamped with “JFS” maker mark. Attached to the buckle is a handwritten label stating “LUFTWAFFE BELT BUCKLE GIVEN TO STEVE HALL OF BRIGHTON BY HERBERT RICHTER IN 1996” and on the reverse “UNTEROFFIZIER HERBERT RICHTER 3 STAFFEL / KG40 SHOT DOWN AND TAKEN POW 5.8.1943 OFF ICELAND”. Generally in good condition.
Very Rare Early Waffen-SS Double Decal M-34 Parade Style Helmet, untouched as found example retaining approximately 80% of the original green paint finish to the exterior shell. Some areas of surface rusting to the top and lower ridge of the shell. The helmet has original Waffen-SS decal applied to the side and the party decal shield to the other side. Helmet has its original M-34 pattern leather liner which is suffering with dry rot, four cork liner spacer pads remain to the interior. Some of the tongues are now damaged. Metal clip and very small section of the chinstrap remain. Shell has makers stamp to the inside. The helmet comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Ken Niewiarowicz, author of “Germany’s Combat Helmet 1933-45” by R James Bender Publishing, dated 28th May 2010. He states in the certificate that the decals are C.A Pocher type. A superb untouched example of a very rare SS helmet.
Scarce Household Cavalry Troopers Sword, regulation curved fullered single edge blade stamped WSC, broad arrow, government inspector’s stamp and sale marks, regulation guard (re-plated), iron grip strap, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its iron scabbard. Blade 88cms. Good condition, blade refinished, tip re-pointed, worn overall.
WW1 Pritchard Webley Revolver Bayonet, brass hilt with the cross guard having the patent stamp and oval mark for W W Greener of Birmingham. Housed in its blued steel scabbard. Un-marked “T” shaped blade, measuring 20 ½ cms, overall length 33cms. We are of the opinion that this item is a high quality late 20th century representation and is being sold as such.
WW2 1944 Chindits Machete, the wooden handle stamped to the reverse “A J DAVIDSON 1944” with broad arrow stamp. Housed in leather scabbard with securing strap and brass stud. Blade appears to be from a cut down larger weapon, but made to be worn with this scabbard. Similar example shown in “British and Commonwealth Military Knives” by Flook.
5x British Military Cap Badges, consisting of WW2 plastic war economy Devonshire regiment cap badge with two blade fittings to the reverse, WW2 plastic war economy Queens regiment cap badge with two blade fittings to the reverse, George VI bronze OSD Royal Engineers cap badge with two blade fittings to the reverse and J R Gaunt makers stamp, Royal Artillery officers gilt cap badge with two lug fittings to the reverse and silver gilt Royal Army Pay Corps officers cap badge with two lug fittings to the reverse.
