POSTAL HISTORY; an early Victorian postmarked letter with ship letter Gravesend stamp and Maltese Cross stamp dated 16th June 1838, framed with an engraving of Gravesend in Kent and an text explanation panel, framed and glazed, overall 41 x 31.5cm.Additional InformationSome old grubby marks to the letter and old fold marks visible, but essentially the overall appearance of the items and the mount is clean and bright. The frame is modern.
