Lacroix for Pichard SA, abstract image of a teacher holding a book and students represented by diamonds, edge impressed bronze and with foundry mark of A. Pichard, 65mm, 151.53g. About extremely fine £15-£25 --- The Lycée François d’Assise Nicolas Barré was built in 1883 in avenue Roqueville; it was known to generations of pupils and teachers as ‘Les Franciscains’ and was demolished in 2013. The image on the medal is taken from that on the Monegasque 2 franc postage stamp of 1983.
