1971 Micheál Ó Nualláin cartoon of Archbishop McQuaid running a family planning clinic. A cartoon of McQuaid, a white coat and stethoscope over his Archbishop's soutane, calling "Next Please!" into a waiting room full of pregnant women. Colour lithograph of cartoon published in Dublin Opinion. 14 by 20in. (35.6 by 50.8cm) Micheál Ó Nualláin (1928-2016) was the younger brother of Brian O'Nolan, who wrote under the pseudonyms of Flann O'Briain and Myles na gCopaleen. A graduate of the National College of Art he was a school inspector for art studies, a portrait painter and caricaturist. His portrait of his brother Brian was used on an Irish postage stamp.
