KAHLER: A studio pottery stoneware vase and circular dish, circa 1960s, in turquoise blue glaze with unglazed band to neck of vase and side of dish, the underside of dish with incised marks 'HAK / Nils / 158.20' and a red and white paper label 'Kahler 301-20', and vase incised indistinctly '--K', '517-27', and impressed stamp 'DENMARK'. A PAIR OF LOUIS XV SIDE CHAIRS BY PIERRE FALCONET CIRCA 1750-1760 With caned backs and seats, painted in distressed grey and dark leather squab shaped squab cushions, each stamped to back rail 87cm high, 47cm wide The same "FALCONET" stamp was used by two Paris menuisiers in the 18th century: Pierre Falconet (b. 1683) and his son Louis Falconet (master 1743, d. ca. 1775). From the style of these chairs they are almost certainly made by the son. Condition Report: Signs of wear. Apparently inactive woodworm in both chairs. Condition Report Disclaimer

Standing Teddy with circa 2002 marks, with glaze crazing across tummy. No gilt stopper to this example.Otherwise there is some very minor wear to gilding but generally in good order overall. No boxes or labels.
