A 1796 PATTERN LIGHT CAVALRY TROOPER'S SWORD TO THE 7TH HUSSARS, 83cm curved blade by Osborn, with multiple edge nicks and Ordnance stamp, regulation steel stirrup hilt, marked 7H to the underside, ribbed leather covered grip, together with another similar with 81.5cm blade by Egg and worn ribbed wooden grip. The 7th Hussars were heavily engaged at Waterloo. Scabbards lacking. (2)
A RELIC 1796 PATTERN CAVALRY TROOPER'S SWORD, 49cm blade by WOOLLEY & DEAKIN, Ordnance stamp, regulation steel stirrup hilt, one langet lacking, later leather covered grip, contained in its shortened steel scabbard applied with a white metal plaque pertaining to the Cotton Waterloo Relics sale, together with four Georgian sword blade elements and two steel scabbards. A FRENCH MODEL 1767 GRENADIERS SIDEARM, 59.5cm curved blade, regulation two-piece cast brass hilt with D-shaped knuckle guard with Inspector's stamp for Louis Antoine Gau de Vaumarin, ribbed brass grip, contained in its brass mounted leather scabbard, the upper mount struck with an anchor, together with a Continental sidearm. Scabbard lacking on the latter. (2)
St Bartholomew, Swedish Administration, post-1821 issues, Nine Stuivers, a Spanish Real, 1778, obv. countermarked c 9 raised within an elliptical indent, 2.53g (cf. Lyall 5093; Prid. Not Attributed 39; Scholten 1374 [Curaçao]). Coin fair, countermark very fine but not fully struck, extremely rare £1,500-£1,800 --- This is the wrong host type for a 9 Stuiver stamp; Spanish-American Reals were valued at 9 Stuivers whereas Spanish Reals such as this coin were valued at 7 Stuivers. This coin was most likely stamped 9 instead of 7 by mistake.
Royal Worcester - An early 20th century circa. 1930's Art Deco Royal Worcester bone china part tea service. The service comprising of four teacups and six saucer's. Each piece being decorated with gilt interiors and handle with gilded Greek key decoration to rim over black ground. Back stamp for 1932. Also accompanied by six early 20th century Royal Doulton dinner plates having cream grounds and gilt detailing. Plates diameter 27cm.
