HENTY (George Alfred): 'A Search for a Secret', London, Tinsley Brothers, 1867. FIRST EDITION OF THE AUTHOR'S FIRST NOVEL. 3 vols, original publishers blind stamped green cloth, spines gilt lettered, some wear and rubbing with several gatherings loose, yellow endpapers with early owner's and bookseller's stamp, 8vo. A good copy of a notoriously difficult to find Henty title. (3)

HELLER (Frank, Photographer, American, 1917-2008): a collection of 24 large black and white silver gelatine photographs by Heller, a number titled and signed in pencil to lower margin, and all mounted on card, image size approx 40 x 49cm, all with Heller's stamp and markings to blank verso, together with various exhibition labels including Welsh Salon of Photography Neath 1952, Patchway Annual Camera Exhibition 1955, Ilford Photographic Society Exhibition 1953, with other related stamps and markings, plus 2 smaller images with similar marks and labels to verso, together with copies of 'Photograms of the Year 1953' pub. Amateur Photographer and an issue of 'Amateur Photographer' magazine for September 1952, both featuring reproductions of Heller's work, together with a 2 side ALS from Heller to recipient Bill regarding inclusion of his work at exhibition, dated June 12 1951.
