A PAIR OF VERY HEAVY CAST IRON GARDEN BENCHES, each with Pearce of Wexford stamp, the centre with pierced and arched back flanked to either side with smaller rectangular conforming panels, the pierced cast iron slatted seat with ornate side panels, raised on front and back sabre legs, 48" (122cm) wide. Silver & Co, C&N, 1863, London”, believed to have been used as a protective items during combat training with poles, similar to Japanese Kendo. GC (some damage to leather backing)
