A very rare modified 1874 model revolver dating: 1875-1890 provenance: Kingdom of Italy Octagonal, rifled, 11 mm cal. barrel with foresight. Grooved, six-shot cylinder (functioning mechanic, to be cleaned), frame featuring remains of the mark "GLISENTI BRESCIA" on the left and remains of a stamp, on the right side remains of a stamp and the serial number "2xxx". Folding trigger, loading gate, extractor. The ring for the strap is missing. Wooden grip scales with remains of checkering. Modified version of model 1874 revolver adapted to the mechanic structure of Bodeo. Created in a small number of pieces. A fine pair of wheel-lock pistols dating: second quarter of the 17th Century provenance: Saxony Smooth, octagonal, 15 mm cal. barrels with remains of another stamp; iron locks with inside wheel, smooth plate with oblique borders, sliding pan cover; wooden full stocks enriched with bone and mother of pearl inlays, depicting the effigy of a hunter with spear and trumpet, a hunter with bow and hounds, two hunters with bow and spear with their hounds chasing a wild boar, other hounds and wild animals, everything surrounded by trees, floral decorations, ornamental bands and hops. Under the wheels the royal, Saxon coat of arms in mother of pearl. Onion-shaped pommels decorated en suite. Iron trigger guard chiselled with foliage. Iron trigger guards. Bone-tipped wooden ramrods. Both pistols feature restorations: the lock (functioning) of one of the pistols has been replaced in a later period. Despite the restorations, it certainly is a scarce and interesting pair of pistols. dimensions: length 66 cm.

A very scarce four-shot percussion stick gun with stiletto dating: third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Belgium Wooden haft, detachable. Grip with silver mounts featuring stamps, probably English. Removing the grip of the stick, there is a four-barrel gun with grooves similar to the barrel of a pepperbox revolver, the base marked "PARIS BREVETE", "PARIS", with stamp of Liège test bench; by pulling the barrels comes out a small piston that, through a button, fires all shots at the same time. In the front part, between the for barrels, is a stiletto blade. dimensions: length 83.5 cm.

An extremely rare Enigma I chiper machine dating: second quarter of the 20th Century provenance: Germany Metallic and bakelite structure in black. With a plaque featuring the serial number "A 16539 / jla / 43". The "plugboard" complete with cables with connectors (some cables slightly damaged). All keys functioning. The inside surface marked with serial number coeval with the plaque; in very good condition. Complete with the light panel, well preserved (lamps missing), and the battery box (without battery). The mechanic is complete with the spindle for the rotors (missing) and disc with the contacts. Provided with an antique, wooden case (small damages on the back surface of the cover, some pitting on the mounts), the front door marked "Klappe schliessen"; on the inside surface of the cover a metallic plaque for spare lamps, two hooks, clips and braces for spare cables (the spare elements are now missing) and a plaque with instructions, underneath a stamp depicting an eagle on swastika. On the back a leather, transportation handle (damaged). Very scarce object, of unique charm and historical interest. The Enigma machine uses three movable rotors codifying text messages producing encrypted messages then sent, generally via morse code, to the receiver, this one too provided with an Enigma machine featuring the same configuration of the sender in order to decode the message. Initially developed and patented for civilian use, it was soon adopted by German Army which ordered an enhanced version of the commercial model, complete with the three rotors and the plugboard adding a significant cryptologic strength to the machine. The final version was produced from 1932, called the "Enigma-I", and German Army got the exclusive production rights. It was built by Heimsoeth und Rinke in Berlin. The Alleys spent years trying to decipher the Enigma code, but things finally changed thanks to the famous United Kingdom's Government Code and Cypher School, based in Bletchley Park. Thank to Polish help and French intelligence, the well-know Alan Turing, together with other members of the senior staff, was able to decrypt the Enigma code, giving a substantial aid to the Allied war effort. dimensions: dimensions custodia 27,7 x 15,5 x 34 cm.
