An early Victorian mahogany bookcase cabinet, stamped 'James Winter & Sons...', the concave cornice above two glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, above a quatrefoil flower carved frieze and two panel doors on a plinth base, bears makers stamp, 112 cm wide x 223 cm high. Provenance: Royal Holloway College, Egham.
Boisseau, Émile André (1842-1923). A Fine Bronze Figure Group; 'Le Crépascule', having a rich brown patination. The female figure of guardian angel holding a lamp & sheltering two slumbering infants beneath her wings. The oval base signed Boisseau, dated 1880 with foundry stamp Thiébaut Frères Paris, 17 ins (43 cms) in height.
An Art Deco Alabaster, Bronze & Marble Occasional Lamp with Freidrich Goldscheider stamp to the underside. The lamp having a brown patinated bronze column with alabaster figures of a pierrot & dancer sat embraced on a pedestal bench with painted details to their costumes and raised on an oval grey & brown mottled marble base, 31½ ins (80 cms) overall in height including modern shade.
