A mid 20th century Thonet desk chair, bent beech plywood frame with beech pin legs and beech armrests, marbled white faux leather seat, makers stamp under seat, height 82cmOne armrest has been repaired, one rivet from upholstery is missing, water stains to back, legs marked and scratched from regular use.
A matched set of ten 17th Century and later dining chairs with upholstered backs and seats with a variety of turned, bobbin and reed type legs, some joined by conforming stretchers and some with the initialles HW carved to the legs, eight singles and two carversQty: 8The arm chairs are a pair. The singles do not appear to match, some are similar but in no case is the configuration of stretchers the same. I can only find one with the stamp HW, it is to back of lag and back of back stretcher.
