Dare Dare - A 1953 Dan Dare Interplanetary Stamp Folder. The folder is complete with 32 interplanetary stamps which was issued in 1953 as a promotion for Lever Brothers 'Lifebuoy Soap'. The album is contained in its original delivery envelope, accompanied with its original letter 'from Digby', together with an envelope which contains the empty cellophane packets which contained the stamps. There are some holes to the mailing envelope plus some annotations in red pen but overall the items appear to be in Excellent condition generally given their age. A 19th Century Kerr & Binns Worcester Parian ware figurine by WB Kirk Fecit. The figure depicts an expressional maiden draped in robe with arms outstretched leaning forward. Set to a shaped plinth base. Impressed signature to verso. No visible Worcester stamp. Fingers AF and some wear commensurate with age throughout. Measures approx; 36cm tall.

Strahan; and T. Cadell, 1775.⁂ Contemporary ink annotations on verso of the errata leaf suggest this copy belonged to one of the members of a gentleman's club: "T. Foster. Books divided 29th Febry 1776. Members of the Club [followed by a list of 8 names] To dine once a Month with one of the Members."

It appears to be a first edition but some copies do not contain the 4 engraved plates, only an engraved title as in the British Library copy.The second is a popular early American detective novel which influenced Agatha Christie.

September 30 - October 4, 1935, first edition, number 24 of an unspecified limitation, "Printed as manuscript for private circulation only", diagrams, in text, "Bucks mental Hospital" ink stamp to title and endpapers, some light foxing at either end, original cloth-backed boards, rubbed, light wear to extremities, 4to, 1936.⁂ The first printing of the "Tavistock lectures" in which Jung first introduced the subjects of archetypes and the collective unconscious.
