A large collection of original cartoons by Chic (Cyril Jacob)from his time as a Daily Express staff cartoonist (1964-73), pen and ink on paper and card, some with colour tint, almost all signed, most with notes verso indicating when the cartoon was published, with pasted clipping from the newspaper and with dated Stock stamp. (in excess of 600.)
An Edwardian silver desk stand with arched calendar top, pen rest and inkwell (glass missing), four stamp boxes, 5in. (12.7cm.) high.* Condition: Faded numbers on disc, the right pen rest stand is loose and turns round, backing with wear, shallow dings throughout, hallmarks rubbed. Inkwell glas is missing.
