Circa 1930-40s Full Length Evening Dresses, comprising a black and gold striped dress with pleated bodice and straps; Stamp Taylor Model white net mounted dress with coloured flower head appliques to the hem; pale mauve silk chiffon bias cut dress; black crepe sleeveless dress, tie shoulder straps and chiffon mounts; black lace dress with multi pleated black silk bodice and straps and similar pleated chiffon hem; black net dress mounted with floral lace, three quarter length sleeves, black trimmed collar, open design to the front and belt; Atrima London black silk taffeta dress with black velvet short sleeve bodice and V-neckline (7). Black and gold striped dress - slight wear and stitched repairs to the straps. Stamp Taylor Model white dress - some discolouration and numerous holes to the skirt, slight staining under the arms and loose threads. Mauve dress - some slight discolouration, several tiny holes and wear. Black crepe dress - slight fading and wear. Black lace dress - slight fading and wear, several thread pulls to the lace and small holes, straps repaired. A LIMITED EDITION MAHOGANY KNEEHOLE DESK, in the George II style, by John L Corlyon (Furniture) Ltd of Burstwick, being no. 21 of 50 reproduced from the original in No.10 Downing Street, London, bearing plaque to inside door, the breakfront top having a gilt tooled leather inset writing surface over three frieze drawers, one with maker's stamp, over three real drawers and a cupboard door disguised as three drawers enclosing a flight of six stationery drawers, all flanking a recessed cupboard door, the plinth with leaf carving; together with A DESK CHAIR EN SUITE, with plaque to reverse. A 19th century Samson desk stand after Chantilly, of square canted form incorporating a seal, taper stick, pen stand, stamp box and two ink wells, painted in the Kakiemon style with birds and insects, together with a Drabware desk stand, each component formed as a butter churn (one tray). Damage to the Samson stand on the handle of the seal, taper stick and the stamp box cover. Drabware stand with some repair.
