A stoneware jug of Oriental influence decorated in a sang de boeuf flambe glaze, h. 20.5 cm*bears Ruskin Pottery West Smethwick stamp CONDITION REPORT: Firing faults, including minimal cracking/ chipping defects as photographed. There is no major cracking or chipping affecting the solidity of the jug. Glazing is inconsistent across the jug's surface. Stamp to the base reads "Ruskin Pottery, West Smethwick"

Large qto. portfolio featuring a faux snakeskin binding over a tissue guarded, coloured and illustrated card cover containing coloured and tinted illustrations of Jouve's lithographs and engravings together with photographs of his work loosely presented on single and double sheets. All printed on Rives wove paper the last printed page of which features an embossed Jaguar stamp with Jouve's name. Number 351 of 490 of a limited edition. A very good, near fine copy.
