1917 December 3 4c carmine postal stationery card with CHINA opt, used from Tientsin to England, the stationery stamp was initially un-cancelled as the card appears to have been posted at the Chinese (rather than British) post office, with bilingual Tientsin cds for DEC 7 at lower left and right, and very fine 'BUREAU AMBULANT No 1/PEKING-MOUKDEN' cds for 8 DEC 17 at top, upon arrival in England the card was treated as unpaid with a 2d/466 h.s and 2d postage due tied by Sevenoaks reg oval d.s. for 28 JA 18, the stationery stamp has been cancelled by a Sevenoaks cds for the same day, subsequently readdressed to Wiltshire, some creasing but most unusual
