Jamaica. 1938-52 5/- `Isle of Wood and Water`, an extraordinary collection mounted on black FG `Graduate` leaves. Predominantly mint, but includes dated used to corroborate the printings as identified (each stamp is allocated to a printing). A number of constant plate varieties are noted and their development/repairs are traced. Commences with a Specimen and a bromide. There are five complete panes of thirty, two being perf 14, nineteen Plate blocks of four or larger and eighteen further blocks with many pairs and singles. We also note four fine used line perfs.
