The sole stained glass window in the church at Ashow was commissioned from the Hardman Studios and installed in 1932.

The print has full margins, with blind stamp and signature present. The platemark is fully visible. Sheet is in good condition – no obvious tears, creases or faults. There is some general ageing (browning) to the sheet. Etching is clear and surface stable. The frame has general wear and tear.

There is some minor dirt and wear to upholstery, mainly evident to the arms. There is some staining to the front part of the upholstery of seat. The wooden hand rests have some minor staining and minor discolouration and scratching/wear. There are some typical minor scuff marks and minor knocks to legs, with evidence of old staple marks to the underside where it has been reupholstered. There is no stamp, but there is a circular mark where a sticker (Danish furniture quality control) would have been. This item has come from an estate with various other examples of mid-century Scandinavian furniture.
