It bears no hallmark, nor stamp. It is both white and yellow coloured, and in our opinion it would test as silver, with a gold plated inner shank. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour (centre) J/K, (residual) tinted, clarity (centre) I1/I2, (residual) I1/I2/I3. Gross weight 9.0 grams. CR made 22nd September 2014

A Sapphire and Diamond Ring, circa 1940, a cushion cut light blue sapphire in a white claw setting, with a pear shaped white setting on each side, containing an old cut diamond and a rose cut diamond, with shaped yellow borders to a plain polished back, total estimated diamond weight 0.50 carat approximately, finger size P1/2 The ring is in good condition. It has a small stamp to the outer shank which was not identified. In our opinion it would test as gold. The sapphire measures; 7.61mm x 7.13mm x 5.23mm = 2.50 carat approximately. It fastens with a pin and push barrel catch. It bears no hallmark, but in our opinion it would test as silver settings on a gold mount. It has a stamp which appears to be `A`. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Some of the diamonds have nibbled girdle edges. Gross weight 7.6 grams. CR made 10th September 2014

A Victorian Ruby and Emerald Locket, the oval locket with rope twist decoration and rubies and emeralds inset in rows to one side, measures 2.8cm by 4.6cm, on A Guard Chain, of doubled belcher links, length (doubled over) 63.5cm This is in fair condition. The locket is missing one ruby. The chain has a swivel catch. It has had some repairs and has replacement loops in three places. Neither item bears a hallmark, nor stamp. Gross weight 43.0 grams. A Pearl and Diamond Ring, the pearlescent centre stone with graduated eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders, on a plain polished shank, finger size P1/2 The ring is in good condition. The shank is a little thin at the base and a sizing mark is visible. It bears no hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion would test as platinum. The pearl stone may be a mother-of-pearl based piece. There is a junction line around the setting. It has not been analysed. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; caratweight 0.20, colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 8.6 grams. An Art Deco Pearl and Diamond Ring, the off-round pinkish coloured cultured pearl within a diamond set geometric mount, on a trifurcated shoulder shank, finger size P1/2 The ring is in good condition. It has been sized, or repaired, in the past and there is clear evidence of this at the base of the shank. It bears no hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion it would test as platinum. The pearl measures 9mm approximately in diameter. It is a silvery grey colour with pinkish tones. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; caratweight 0.20, colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. It bears a stamp to the outer shank, but it is unclear. In our opinion it would test as gold. The pearl measures 10.5mm approximately. It is a silvery-white colour. It bears no hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion it would test as gold. It fastens with a pin and revolver catch. The citrine measures; 27mm (approximately) x 23.58mm x 13.78mm. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 19.0 grams. CR made 31st July 2014

A Diamond and Seed Pearl Bow Brooch, circa 1930, set throughout with old cut and rose cut diamonds in white millegrain settings, the two bow tails articulated, total estimated diamond weight 2.00 carat approximately, measures 4.4cm by 5.7cm Provenance: with the card of Sir Victor Sassoon, on which is written `In memory of Honeylight`s Guineas`. Honeylight was a racehorse which won The 1000 Guineas in 1958. It was owned by Sir Victor Sassoon. The horse was trained by Yorkshire trainer Captain Charles Elsey, whose wife Eileen was given this brooch following the win The brooch is in good condition. It fasten with a pin and revolver catch. It bears no hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion it would test as platinum. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 12.0 grams. An Opal Necklace with Diamond Clasp, the graduated round opal beads knotted with faceted crystal spacers between, to a geometric clasp set with old cut diamonds, total estimated diamond weight 0.70 carat approximately, length 57cm The necklace is in good condition. The beads were cleaned and it was re-strung in 2010. It fastens with a tongue and box clasp, and features a figure-of-eight safety catch. It also has a safety chain. It bears no hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion would test as gold. Some of the beads show cracking. They are white body colour, and quite fiery showing a lot of blue-green and some red flashes. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2. Gross weight 49.6 grams. CR made 1st October 2014

An Early 20th Century Diamond Three Stone Ring, the graduated old European cut diamonds in white claw settings, to carved shoulders on a plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 3.40 carat approximately, finger size Q1/2 The ring is in good condition overall. Some of the claws need attention. It has been sized and there is a visible added section to the base of the shank. It bears no hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion it would test as platinum. The diamonds measure; 5.84mm x 5.83mm x 3.49mm (0.83ct), 7.33mm x 7.39mm x 4.58mm (1.73ct), 5.78mm x 5.81mm x 3.58mm (0.84ct). The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI2/I1/I2. The diamonds have some minor nicks to the girdle. Gross weight 4.2 grams. CR made 1st October 2014

A Gilt Metal Striking Mantel Clock, circa 1880, surmounted by an urn finial, side lion mask heads, acanthus and scroll decorated base, 5-1/2-inch enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, twin barrel movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, backplate with retailers stamp G.Philippe Palais Royal 66 & 67, J.Marti JM and numbered 2120, 46cm high 25.06.14, Gilding is slightly faded in parts, all four frets above the base is slight damage, dial with one small hairline crack positioned above 12, back door pin has broken and the door is slightly loose, movement backplate with surface scratches, movement is striking and in going order.
