1868-71 Remainders of old stock subsequently perforated by the 11½-12½ machine, 2d pale vermilion, rouletted (SG 47), original rouletting at sides, also perf at right (2mm from rouletting) and at top and foot, used by neat Adelaide cds for AU 15 68 which is the earliest recorded date for this rare stamp, BPA cert (1982)
1892-99 $5 orange and carmine, a "Ceylon" forgery 'used' 'KUNWARA' cds for Oc 2 98, a fascinating item which was produced by bleaching a common contemporary Ceylon stamp and printing the forgery on the resulting blank 'stamp', the cancel would not have been affected by the bleaching and is quite genuine!
1922-23 1d scarlet and 1½d red-brown with 'Harrison' (type 5) overprints, in horizontal pairs each showing variety Long '1' in '1922' on left and right stamps respectively (SG 68/a, 69/a), the 1d right stamp showing remains of coil join and pair with light gum wrinkles, the 1½d fine, both u/m, RPS certs (2003)
