British Airborne Forces Rifle Valise, in green felt cloth with webbing straps. Makers stamp and clear “JUNE 1945” date. Some mothing to the cloth but stitching all remains in generally good condition. These were issued to British Airborne soldiers to protect their Lee Enfield .303 rifles during a Parachute drop.

Rare British Airborne Forces Body Armour, complete set of the specialist body armour produced for the British Airborne forces dropped into Normandy on D-Day and Arnhem (Operation Market Garden). The canvas covered front plate, lower plate and kidney shaped back plate are complete with the original pads and hanging straps. Good clear 1944 date stamp to the reverse of the lower plate. Good used example with some staining and wear.
1939 Manufactured ATS Peaked Cap, khaki wool with cloth chinstrap. Green artificial silk lining to the interior stamp with makers details “J.C.S & W LTD” broad arrow mark and 1939 date. Size marked 7 and WD stamp with date letter “O” which is 1942, indicating manufactured in 1939 but not issued until 1942. No cap badge to the front.
Imperial German Mauser 98/05 Bayonet by J Corts Sohn, fine example of the standard model bayonet carried by the German infantry soldier during WW1. Fine condition two piece slab wooden grip. Housed in its original blued steel scabbard. Blade stamped to the spine with inspection stamp and 1915 date. Single edged swollen blade with fuller to the back edge. Blade is stamped with makers details for J Corts Sohn Remscheid. Blade measures 37cms, overall 52cms.
Imperial German Mauser 98/05 Sawback Bayonet, good used example of the Imperial German Mauser 98/05 bayonet with 1915 dated acceptance stamp to the edge. Two piece wooden slab grips. Housed in the original scabbard. The blade has sawback edge with fuller to the back edge. Blade has Simson & Co Suhl makers mark to the base. Blade measures 36 ½ cms, overall 52 cms. Some wear to the grip and finish removed from the scabbard.
WW1 Bavarian Jager Shako, black leather example fitted with officers pattern scaled brass chinscales and brass Bavarian Jager pattern shako plate. White and blue cloth covered field cockade (possibly later replacement). Interior of the helmet retains its original leather liner and 1916 dated ink makers stamp. Overall very good condition. Possibly worn by an NCO or 1 year volunteer.
Imperial German Hussars Busby, good wartime example of an other ranks hussar busby with black fur covering to the body. Stamped to the top “HR 16 1916”. Complete with chinstrap securing bolts. Gold painted scroll to the front. Complete with the original leather lining to the interior with remains of ink issue stamp. Some areas of fur loss.
Imperial German Prussian State Officials Frock Coat / Tunic, dark blue / black body with red piped collar, cuffs and front. Long gold embroidered collar litzen. Double row of brass buttons with Imperial Deutsche Reich eagle. Braided officers style shoulder boards. Partially lined to the interior with ink stamp dated 1909. Good overall condition.
German Mauser Model 1898 Bayonet, untouched as found example complete with its wooden two piece slab grips. Rusted eagle head top pommel and cross guard. Remains of regimental stamp to the reverse of the cross guard. Housed in its steel and leather mounted scabbard which again is heavily rusted. Pipe back blade with fuller to the back edge. Stamped to the forte “E&F HORSTER SOLINGEN”. Imperial acceptance stamps to the blade edge with “07” for 1907 issue. Some surface staining to the blade but generally not bad condition compared to the exterior fittings. Blade measures 51 ½ cms, overall 68 cms.
Third Reich SS Police Officers Dress Sword by Alcoso Solingen, fine example with nickel silver “D” shaped guard with top pommel fitting. Grip retaining the wire binding and copper Police pattern eagle set within the grip. Housed in its original black painted scabbard with metal mounts and single hanging ring. Top scabbard mounting having double rune acceptance stamp. Straight plain blade with fuller to the back edge. Alcoso makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Blade has some light staining but generally good condition. Blade measures 74 ½ cms, overall 89 ½ cms. Slight paint loss to the scabbard and dented making it slightly miss-shaped.
German Reichsmarine 1st Model Naval Officers Dress Dagger, with gilt metal flamed top pommel, white celluloid grip with wire binding. Plain gilt metal cross guard with anchors to the centre of each side. Housed in its original brass scabbard stamped to the top “O.428”. Double edged plain blade stamped with Reichsmarine acceptance stamp and matching numbers to the scabbard. Blade measures 25 cms, overall 39 cms. Top pommel loose and some cracks to the celluloid grip.
Calligraphy Initials from Documents Removed from Hermann Goring’s Home at Berchetsgaden in 1945, finely detailed letters “M” and “H” stuck to larger pages with ink stamp from the collection of items removed by the French 2nd Armoured division. Housed in larger files. (2 items) The French 2nd Armoured Division were one of the first to reach the Bavarian town of Berchetsgaden and liberated many items from the summer homes of many of the high ranking Third Reich officials including Hermann Goring.
Very Rare Early Waffen-SS Double Decal M-34 Parade Style Helmet, untouched as found example retaining approximately 80% of the original green paint finish to the exterior shell. Some areas of surface rusting to the top and lower ridge of the shell. The helmet has original Waffen-SS decal applied to the side and the party decal shield to the other side. Helmet has its original M-34 pattern leather liner which is suffering with dry rot, four cork liner spacer pads remain to the interior. Some of the tongues are now damaged. Metal clip and very small section of the chinstrap remain. Shell has makers stamp to the inside. The helmet comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Ken Niewiarowicz, author of “Germany’s Combat Helmet 1933-45” by R James Bender Publishing, dated 28th May 2010. He states in the certificate that the decals are C.A Pocher type. A superb untouched example of a very rare SS helmet.
German WW2 Kriegsmarine Ships Engine Room Clock as Used in the German U-Boats, the clock which was made by Junghans, has silvered dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary dial. Kriegsmarine issue stamp, eagle and swastika over M to the centre. Housed in the original metal casing which retains much of the original paint finish. Case is complete with fixing posts and comes with key. Some wear to the dial and ribbing to some of the numbers. Good used example. These types of ships clocks were often found in the engine rooms as opposed to the larger brass cased bulk head clocks. These were particular popular in U-Boats. When ships surrendered at the end of WW2 these clocks were popular souvenirs amongst British Naval personnel.The clock is in working order but has not been tested for accuracy
Royal Canadian Air Force (R.C.A.F) Flag, fine cotton example with felt embroidered RAF roundel having red maple leaf to the centre. Complete with enforcing tape to the edge being stamped with “4x2 RAF ENS” and the other side stamped “ARTHUR SMART & SONS LTD LONDON 1943” and broad arrow stamp. Complete with rope tie and brass clip. Flag measures 123 x 57cms.
French Infantry Officers Sword, gilt brass shell guard with brass French style eagle to the centre, flat brass knucklebow leading to bulbous pommel. Polished horn grip retaining the original wire binding. Reverse folding guard engraved “A Malbes”. Double edged tapered blade with central ridge. Etching and armourers stamp to the lower section of the blade. Housed in its leather scabbard with top brass mount, lower chape missing. The blade measures 77 cms, overall 93 cms.
WW1 Austrian M1915 Pioneers Sidearm, fine example with two piece wooden grips secured by three rivets, “S” shaped steel guard. Housed in its original steel scabbard with remains of the paint finish. Complete with its correct pattern large leather hanging frog. Thick single edged blade stamped to the forte with Budapest maker and Austrian army acceptance stamp and “15” for 1915 issue. Shows wear but generally good condition. Blade measures 38 ½ cms, overall 55 cms.

A Persian white metal samovar, of diminutive form, having octagonal bulbous body, fitted with twin carry handles and tap, the sides decorated with engraved circular panels of arabesques and birds among flowers, the circular lid fitted twin wood handles and with hinged vent, terminating in crown with out swept rim for tea pot, the samovar grill to waist raised upon square base with quadruple ball feet, together with associated Persian white metal items to include; tray, cups and saucers, sugar bowl and nips, and shallow dish raised upon triple supports, all of diminutive form and with engraved decoration, some items with stamp in Arabic, all items assessed as silver, (total weight 1213g). A Victorian silver stamp box, by Joseph Hayes Taylor, Birmingham 1879, stamped with lozenge registration mark for 28th January 1880, of rectangular form, with gently curved ends and fold out hinged stamp sleeve, attached to a silver hallmarked Albert chain, with silver vesta case to the other end, this of rectangular form with bright cut foliate decoration, by John Rose, Birmingham 1911. Also a silver combined vesta and sovereign case, of elongated form with hinged sovereign holder to one end and vesta top to the other, with bright cut foliate decoration, another silver hallmarked vesta and a silver hallmarked cigarette case.
