Hessian Artillery Regiment 61 Enlisted Mans Pickelhaube with Trench Cover, this is a magnificent time capsule helmet with its original cover which will not be removed by this house as in places the cover is adhered to the shellac covering of the leather body. Marked into the rear peak ‘RB18’ being the Hessian clothing depot number, also regimentally marked ‘F.A.R.61’ dated ‘1916’. The chinstrap is in the, as worn, hanging down condition and unusually the helmet is fitted with twin Hessian cockades, no extra holes, The interior liner all complete with maker’s oval stamp with central ‘1916’ date. Featured on pages 56, 57, 58 and 59 of Feldzug 16.

Baden Reserve Regiment 109 Other Ranks Ersatz Felt Pickelhaube with Original Regimentally Marked Trench Cover, all felt body which is slightly distorted. Large Baden griffin front plate, complete with its national and Baden State cockade, original chinstrap. The leather liner is all complete with its leather drawstring. Complete with its enlisted ranks cover, which is painted ‘R109’, maker stamped to the interior with size stamp 55, no extra holes behind the front plate. Featured on pages 124, 125, 126, and 127 of Feldzug 15.

Prussian Other Ranks Pickelhaube with Original Trench Cover, superb condition all black leather pickelhaube with the Prussian plate and all fittings in chemically treated field grey. Original chinstrap. original leather liner with leather drawstring. Faint traces of maker’s stamping to the inner skull with unusual fibre back peak, no extra holes. Complete with field cover with slightly moth damaged letters of Regiment 174. The interior of the cover is stamped ‘J.R.174’ plus manufacturer’s stamps and size stamp ‘59’. Featured in Feldzug 15 page 172.

Prussian Garde (Guard) Uhlan Helmet, superb condition all leather body Guard Uhlan enlisted ranks helmet, complete with its metal non-removable mortarboard top, original chinstrap, all fittings in chemically treated field grey, complete with its black and white cloth covering over wood cockade with its standard red, white and black state cockade. To the interior the light tan leather liner is all complete with its original drawstring, stamped size ‘53½â€™ to the interior with maker’s stamp and date ‘1916’. The front Guard plate has its Guard Star missing, many helmets were issued without this Guard Star at this stage of the conflict, no extra holes. Featured on page 184 of Feldzug 15.

Rare Paper Cloth Construction Belt Worn Container For an Item of Artillery Measuring Equipment, complete with its leather belt loop and metal Y strap attachment ring. Maker marked and date stamp 1917.

Imperial German Soldiers Zeltbahn, excellent condition having all its original zeltbahn zinc buttons, evidence of manufacturer’s oval stamp. Army group marked ‘B.A.X.XII’ followed by 15 with hand applied indelible pen owner’s name ‘Uffz.Naue’.

Zeltbahn Peg Set Bag, excellent condition bag for the zeltbahn pole and peg set, leather superb, clearly army group marked ‘B.A.VII 1915’ with oval manufacturer’s stamp.

WW1 German Soldiers Tornister (Backpack), a good example of the fur covered tornister, army group marked to the interior ‘B.A.VIII’ dated ‘1918’ with earlier army group stamp ‘1917’ plus signals unit company markings. In one of the compartments is a fully used cardboard ammunition packet. Good fur to the exterior, all leather fittings strong, Erfurt maker marked, straps dated ‘1916’ with ’17.JR’ markings.

WW1 German Soldiers Tornister (Backpack) With Mess Tin Set, all canvas tornister constructed in field grey canvas, faint traces of maker’s stamp to the interior, complete with leather strap fitted aluminium mess tin, which contains to the interior aluminium drinking cup, soldier’s spoon and fork eating utensils, tin maker marked, dated ‘14’. Both attachment leather straps marked ‘JR19.1B’ Jager Regiment 19 1st Battalion. Leather on tornister maker marked, one strap dated ‘1915’, all other fittings complete.

Rare Bread Bag Strap which was utilised as an ammunition pouch and belt suspension, all leather fittings good, metal fittings complete. Army group marked ‘B.A.V.1918’ with faint manufacturer’s stamp.

Rare Bavarian M.15 Stiefelhose (Breeches), grey green cloth, slight staining around the crotch area with two small minor repairs. Patch in the seat. Clearly stamped ‘B.A.II’ with clear date of ‘1917’ with a partially obliterated regimental identification stamp. Featured on page 52 of Feldzug 17.

3rd Bavarian Infantry Regiment 1910 Enlisted Mans Battle Damaged Field Grey Tunic, nap of cloth weak in places, all original Bavarian buttons. One large moth hole to the right hand sleeve and moth above the rear belt support ramp also under the armpit. Standard configuration with Brandenburg cuffs. Fitted with 1915 shoulder boards. Faint markings of ‘B.A.1 1914’ to the interior plus manufacturer’s stamp, size stamps etc. One sleeve has a battle field repair and one button shows clear evidence of being struck by a bullet or shell splinter. Profusely illustrated with a huge amount of text on page 116 and 117 of Feldzug 14.

Bavarian Regiment Nr6 07/14 Pattern Field Grey Tunic, superb quality, minor moth nips, good nap to cloth overall. 07 rear skirt, 07 Swedish cuffs, NCO’s lace to lower sleeves, red piped front, all matching Bavarian buttons, Bavarian lace and NCO’s lace to collar with NCO’s buttons, M15/16 stitch down boards to Regiment 6, heavily stamped ‘B.A.VII 1916’ with a repair depot stamp ‘B.A.J.1915’ this would have been the depot that constructed the tunic.

WW1 German M 07/15 Prussian Infantry Feldrock Tunic, rank of NCO constructed in officers material but issued to enlisted ranks/NCO. Army group marked ‘B.A.X.1916’ with profuse size stampings to the interior plus a Hannover manufacturer’s stamp. No visible moth damage, red piped front, deep turned back cuffs, M.15 rear skirt, complete with shooting lanyard and slip-on Prussian Infantry Regiment 237 NCO’s shoulder boards. Featured on page 118, 119 of Feldzug 15.

KAR98 Bayonet, marked ‘17’ with ‘W’ and crown above Imperial German acceptance stamp. Maker marked ‘Richard Herder, Solingen’. Slight chip to one grip, dullness to plating in its original steel scabbard.
