A Japanese Meiji period late 19th Century Imari charger plate having central white cartouche panel depicting a still life spray in vase. Borders decorated with white enamel windows with hand enamelled floral sprays and deep ocher ground. Verso having four ocher red character stamp with kiln spur marks and three blue floral sprays. Measures 46cm wide.
An early 20th Century Thai Thailand Niello silver cigarette box raised on bracket feet with sarcophagus shaped lid. Profusely decorated with scrolls and leaves. The lid features a central circular crest with wreath and latin notation. Wood lined fitted interior with makers stamp to base. Weighs 232 grams gros. Measures 11.5 cm wide.

3rd-2nd millennium BC. A domed limestone stamp seal with engraved motif of a facing calf-headed man, grasping two large birds by their necks; pierced through the top. 14.66 grams, 31mm (1 1/4"). A discoid schist(?) stamp seal with pierced knop handle, intaglio profile image of a standing kilted figure of Anu the Creator with wings to the shoulders, hooked frond in each hand, pellets in the field. 10.60 grams, 25mm (1"). From a private Belgian collection; previously part of a private collection formed in Germany in the 1990s. An(u) is the ancient leader of the Sumerian pantheon, later replaced by Enlil as the god of the heavens. Anu belongs to the oldest group of Mesopotamian gods and his major roles are as an authority figure, decision-maker and creator. [No Reserve]Very fine condition.

Painted by Albert Gregory with panels of flowers framed within elaborately moulded gilt cartouches incorporating a G. monogram by George Darlington on gros bleu and turquoise grounds. Signed by both artists, impressed Derby, printed mark in gilt with Royal Warrant and Tiffany & Co retailers stamp, date code for 1910 on both pieces, 30.5cm wide. Notes; Only two tureens of this shape were produced for the service, the other example sold through this saleroom 4th March 2019.
