A .44 CALIBRE SIX-SHOT PERCUSSION ROGERS & SPENCER ARMY REVOLVER, 7.5inch sighted octagonal barrel stamped with the manufacturer's details on the top strap, steel trigger guard, two-piece wooden grips, serial no. 1163. Retains good traces of original blued finish. Inspector's (?) stamp to the left side of the grip and the serial no. 12 to the right.

OF CRIMEAN WAR INTEREST: A CASED .31 CALIBRE FIVE-SHOT PERCUSSION 6INCH LONDON COLT POCKET REVOLVER TO LIEUTENANT COLONEL THE HONOURABLE JOHN CONSTANTINE STANLEY GRENADIER GUARDS, 6inch sighted octagonal barrel marked with the manufacturer's LONDON stamp and London proof marks to the left side, scroll engraved to the muzzle and breech, the cylinders with good stagecoach scene and both stamped with the serial no. 2085, border and scroll engraved frame, ramrod, trigger guard and back strap, the latter also engraved Honble J Stanley Grenadier Guards, varnished wooden grips, serial no. 2085 throughout, contained in its blue velvet lined mahogany case, complete with commensurate accessories, the flask retains good lacquer to body and top, some blue to the nipple key and good blue to the mould. The case is fitted with a blank brass escutcheon to the lid but a brass Colt escutcheon engraved to the Honble J Stanley, Grenadier Guards in the same script as that appearing on the back strap of the gun is present in the case. A letter from the National Army Museum dated 11th May 1982 details that Lieutenant-Colonel Stanley served in the Crimea and was entitled to the Medal and Sebastopol clasp along with the Turkish Medal.

A .44 RIMFIRE OBSOLETE CALIBRE FIVE-SHOT REMINGTON NEW MODEL ARMY REVOLVER, 8inch sighted octagonal barrel stamped with the Manufacturer and Patent details on the top flat, the cylinder also bearing Patent details, blued frame, brass trigger guard, two-piece wooden grips, the left with Inspector's stamp for John W Kelly, the right cut with four notches, serial no. 139673. Good traces of blueing to the frame.

A PAIR OF 20-BORE FLINTLOCK COACHING PISTOLS BY HADLEY, 8inch two-stage brass barrels engraved with flowers at the mid points and scrolls at the breeches and with the maker's stamp T.H, border and scroll engraved brass locks signed HADLEY, full stocked with silver plated brass mounts, to include openwork side plates and long eared butt caps with grotesque masks, mismatched white metal mounted ramrods. A SCARCE MID-18TH CENTURY DRAGOON'S BACKSWORD, 81cm double fullered blade with an inspection stamp or rack number 5 at the forte, characteristic basket hilt with triangular form front plate with two side-bars, flattened bun-shaped pommel, wire bound fishskin grip. See The British Cavalry Sword from 1600 by Martyn page 29 for an illustration of a similar sword and discussion about further examples.

A SCARCE 3RD BENGAL CAVALRY OR SKINNER'S HORSE TROOPER'S SWORD, 91.5cm blade by Wilkinson, serial no. 150 and also bearing an India stamp, regulation steel bowl guard also numbered 150 and applied with the letters and numbers 3BC in brass to the front, patent solid hilt with riveted two-piece chequered grips. Scabbard lacking. An example exists in the National Army Museum and bears the serial no. 462 on the blade and 463 on the steel mounted leather scabbard. Wilkinson manufactured 28 similar pieces though specifically for Officers.

JAN DUKES DE GRAY - SORCERERS (ORIGINAL UK MONO PRESSING LP - DECCA NOVA DN 8). Very scarce original UK mono pressing of the band's debut LP on the excellent Decca Nova series (DN 8). The record is in Ex+ condition with a little residue to side 1, this is not a major feature whatsoever. There is a 'BBC Gramophone Library' stamp on both labels. The sleeve is in VG+ condition. A fantastic, vibrant front cover that would be graded as Ex+, the reverse has a sticker removal mark on the top right hand side. Complete with original mono inner in Ex condition.

THE SMOKE - IT'S SMOKE TIME (ORIGINAL GERMAN PRESSING LP - METRONOME MLP 15 279). It's most definitely smoke time with this original German pressing (the album didn't have a UK issue at the time) on Metronome of the band's only LP (MLP 15.279). The record is in Ex+ condition with a couple of very light paper scuff markings really only apparent on side 2. There are two stamps on the side 2 label and one stamp on the side 1 label. The sleeve is in Ex condition with some light discolouration on the reverse and some wear along the top edge (not a seam split).
