Rückendeckel mit weißem Seidenrips bezogen. Emaille gechipt, Foto und Rahmen fleckig, Vergoldung berieben, Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Bildmaße 21,5 x 13,5 cm, Rahmenmaße 34,5 x 23 cm. Königs/Potsdam", the manufacturer's stamp on the saddle flaps. Parts of the saddle replaced and reworked. Length 63 cm. Seitlich halbrunde Hiebspangen, messinggefasster Kamm mit originaler schwarzer Wollraupe. Die gewölbten, lederunterlegten Schuppenketten an Schlitzschrauben (Lederunterlage unauffällig mit Klebeband verstärkt). Am Nackenschirm ein Langloch zum Aufhängen des Helmes, daneben Kammerstempel "II.R.R. M1875", die Nackenschirmschiene mit Hersteller "G. H. Osang". Partiell leicht beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren. Das Karabinier-Regiment (2. Schweres Regiment) war in Borna bei Leipzig stationiert. Nieter 1893" und "Echt Damast", terzseitig in Kartuschen "Ziehe mich nicht ohne Grund, stecke mich nicht ein ohne Ehre" und "Eisenhauer". Übergroßes, reich reliefiertes vergoldetes Löwenkopfgefäß mit eingesetzten roten Glasaugen, am Parierlappen quartseitig monogrammiert "GN" (Monogramm des Beschenkten), unter der Parierstange gestempelt "Geschütztes Muster", Fischhauthilze mit dreifacher Drahtwicklung. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Länge 103 cm. Dazu eine Erkennungsmarke des "Friedrich Arnold Eberhard von der Decken". Der Schenkende war 1893 Premierlieutenant in der Dienststellung als Regimentsadjutant des 2. Sächsischen Grenadierregiments 101. Sein letzter Dienstgrad war Generalleutnant, seine letzte Dienststellung Kommandeur der 96. Infanterie-Division. Von der Decken war Träger des Kommandeurkreuzes des sächsischen Militär-St.-Heinrich-Ordens in Gold und weiterer hoher Auszeichnungen. Ein farbiger Kalender aus dem Jahre 2012 im Format DIN A 4 mit den Abbildungen aller seiner Auszeichnungen sowie eine neunseitige Abhandlung mit Foto in Uniform und Ordensschmuck über den militärischen Werdegang sind beigegeben. His last rank was lieutenant general, his last official position was commander of the 96th Infantry Division. Von der Decken was winner of the Commander’s Cross of the Saxon Military Order of St. Heinrich in gold and other high-ranking awards. A coloured calendar from 2012 in size A 4 with depictions of all his awards as well as a nine-page essay on his military career with a photograph of him wearing a uniform and decorations are included.Condition: II

FOUR GOLD COLOURED DRESS RINGS The first ring with a trio of old cut diamonds in illusion settings, set in a horizontal row, approximately 0.18 carats total, to tapered textured shoulders, Birmingham 1976, makers mark R&D; together with a circular cut red and white stone Toi et Moi crossover ring, rubbed stamp to shank; a synthetic sapphire and white stone three stone ring, in an 18 carat gold setting, London 1972; together with a synthetic pink stone ring, the circular cut pink stone flanked by two trios of white stones, the shank stamped with 14k and an unidentified gold control mark Size/dimensions: first finger size K 1/2; second M 1/2; third O 1/2; fourth Q Gross weight: 17.4 grams Condition Report: The rings have some wear commensurate with age and use Diamond three stone- there is wear to the setting commensurate with age and use, the diamonds are bright, the shank has been sized. Red and white stone ring- the stones are rubbed, particularly the white stone, the red stone has gas bubbles inside, rubbing to the claws, they need retipping, and some have the claws rubbed off. Blue and white stone ring- there is a lot of abrasion to the white stones, the synthetic sapphire is bright, some nibbling to the crown, the shank has been resized The pink stone is bright, it has some polish marks to the stone, a small fracture to one side. A Hardy St. George fly reel with smoky grey agate ring and ivorine handle CONDITION REPORTS Much surface dirt and minor scratching conducive with age and use, particularly around the ivorine handle. Presumably ownership initials scratched above the Hardy Brothers Ltd stamp "YIH" crudely scratched in with various other minor scratch marks on the same side. The agate ring appears to be uncracked though there is a small scratch to one side - see images for further detail
