GREAT BRITAIN 1840 December 13, entire from the Portsea branch of the 'The South Hants Banking Company' addressed to Newport Isle of Wight, franked by 1840 1d black plate 7, lettered 'KB' with large margins all round and part of adjoining stamp at top this tied by red MC with Portsmouth cancel below, very faint arrival mark on flap and almost complete wax seal intact

Jersey - Nazi Occupation essays: 1937-39 set of 13 KGVI dark colour definitives and the set of five 1940 Stamp Centenary issues all overprinted with a Swastika and inscribed 'JERSEY 1940' (SG JW1/18), superb unused with original gum, a magnificent rarity of historically interest of which only four complete sets exist, offered with Channel Islands Specialist Society (1974) and Michael Wieneke (2001) certs; EX Newport and Chartwell. Soon after the commencement of the occupation of Jersey by German forces on July 1st 1940 orders were given by the German Commandant to the Islands Postmaster for stocks of the currently available stamps to be forwarded to the Jersey printers J.T. Bigwood for overprinting, during this process the Bailiff of Jersey protested to the German Commandant who referred the mater to Berlin which resulted in the destruction of all but four complete sets.
GREAT BRITAIN 1847-54 10d brown die 3 (SG 57, deep shade), tone spot (not apparent from face), horizontal crease and a couple of tiny surface abrasions, just cut-into at top with good to large margins elsewhere, unused with small part o.g., cat £11500, a good representative spacefiller of this rare stamp
B.O.I.C. SOMALIA Postal Stationery: 1945 (19 April) 3d green 'E.A.F.' size F registered envelope with compensation details on reverse changed from "£5" to "2" by handstamp, uprated with 2d, 3d, 5d and 1s 'E.A.F.' and used from Mogadishu to Nairobi, with Italian colonial registration label tied by 'R.R' h/stamp, face also bears Nairobi registered cds for 26 AP 45, reverse bears 'E.A./A.P.O.2' cds for 26 IV 45 and another not legible, light vertical crease but a rarely seen stationery item when used

Vintage Copper colour jugs (2) - no makers mark, slight damage to handle on larger jug, and small chip on smaller jug.-Pair of Vintage small vases - 5.1/2" tall, with silver edge, hand painted, no makers mark-Soup ladle - Beautifully decorated with white flower pattern(worn)-Royal Dolton Plates(2) both with Lion and crown stamp, 8" dia - decorated in red and royal blue - slight chip on the underside of one.-S Hancock (Wild flowers) Dishes - (3) worn but in very good condition for there age.
A Mulready cover, A5, Birmingham 1840 with a red Maltese cross, slightly faded/lighty soiled, small area missing and with two stamp hinges attached Condition report Report by RB The envelope is cut around where the wax seal was, it also has a tear there, general browning and some foxing, a few splits to the creases, and applied five stamp hinges in total.
