A Third Reich SA dagger, 22cm flattened diamond section blade by WKC etched with the motto Alles fur Deutschland, characteristic Holbein hilt, the crossguard with district stamp P for Pommern, contained in its repainted scabbard, together with two German dress bayonets, each with plated hilt and black painted scabbards, one by Klaas and a relic First War German bayonet. (4)
A Victorian Other Ranks Lance Cap to the 12th Lancers, black leather peak and skull with red cloth band, black leather top with brass mounts, black velvet backed chin chain with lion’s mask bosses, regimental lance cap plate with battle honours to SEVASTOPOL, green and yellow wool tuft with 12th Lancers button, gilt plume holder, black cloth liner with War Department stamp and dated 1901, complete with red plume.
UMAYYAD: Hisham, 724-743, glass vessel stamp (26.74g), AH107, A-— (31 x 18 mm) with remnant of the stem connector to vessel, slight devitrification, light green, transparent, Fine to Very Fine, RRR. The inscription is bism Allah / amara bi`l-wafa / `abd Allah hisha- / -m amir al-mu`minin / sana sab` / wa mi`a, which seems to be correct, despite some minor weakness here and there. Glass pieces citing only the Umayyad caliph are extremely rare, and very few have ever been published.
