He was associated with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, another influential occult group of the time.

He gained recognition for his innovative and distinctive approach to architecture, which blended elements of the Arts and Crafts movement with modernist influences. A good example of his work is the listed buildings of Porth-en-Alls at Prussia Cove, with its 'circus' and crescent shaped 'Lodge'. An intriguing and scarce lot.

'The Case of the Borough of Saltash, in the County of Cornwall'. Volumes bound in one. Original binding relaid.Saltash was a ‘’Rotten Borough’’ in Cornwall, which returned two members of parliament to the House of Commons in the English and later British parliament from 1552 to 1832 When it was abolished by the Great Reform Act. Like most of the Cornish boroughs enfranchised or re-enfranchised during the tudor period, it wad a rotten borough from the start. Saltast was a Burgage Borough, meaning that the right to vote rested with the tenants of certain specified properties. For a long period in the 18th century there was a contest for control of the borough between the Government and the Buller family of Morval (some 14 miles away). Depending partly on legal uncertainities over the precise number and identity of the burgage properties, to which vote were attached. In the 1760’s it was considered an entirely secure Admiralty Borough, where the naval influence could sway all the voters, but by 1831 the Bullers owned all the tenancies and considered them the patrons. This is a faithfull copy by John Kipling ,1785, Clerk of the Rolls. 159 pages plus title page, with fold out tables, copy of poll for 1713 and instructions for a poll att an eleconn for 2 members to serve in next parliament. Cary, London, 1794.Cary's map incorporated the latest cartographic techniques of the period, including precise surveying and engraving methods. It set a standard for mapmaking that influenced future cartographers and contributed to the development of modern cartography. This is a good example of this aesthetically pleasing atlas, with a rather interesting former owner.

Coulter has collaborated with Chanel, Burberry Calvin Klein and counts Paul McCartney as a collector. The Freddie Mercury Estate also commissioned him to depict Mr Bad Guy which was then exhibited in Seoul in 2018.
