A sword by A & E Horster, one other sword, two carbine bayonets and a Remington 1907 pattern bayonet, stamped 1913 CONDITION REPORTS Swords very rusted, wear, knocks, grips very deteriorated and with losses, metal fitments appear to have been repainted. Bayonets all with wear and scuffs, some knocks and bumps, some rusting and pitting, two of scabbards appear to have fairly new leather replacements, and possibly some replacement metal fittings. The other leather scabbard is more worn and bears a mark/stamp (see photos), metal attachements/pins to scabbard appear similar to those on the other scabbards, so not not whether these are original.

Theatrical interest. Two leather suitcases by George Parker & Sons, each inscribed `IAN HALL FROM EMILE LITTLER`, and with makers stamp `GEORGE PARKER & SONS, MAKERS. LONDON. WC.` with travel label to the exterior and with brass locks and mounts. 19.2cm high, 71.4cm wide, 44cm deep, each with a key. Provenance: Emile Littler (1903-1985) was a theatrical impresario, producer and author. His theatrical productions included: Annie Get Your Gun, Once in a Lifetime and Zip Goes a Million. He also presented more than two hundred Christmas pantomimes.

A 19thC Chamberlain Worcester egg stand, of oval form with a gilt outline and gilt highlighted strap work handles, partially decorated with flowers to the centre with egg cup holders, 21cm wide, and a Derby cream jug, of circular form sparsely decorated with gilt highlighted flowers on a circular foot, red stamp mark beneath. 1913 LZ 9 First German Airmail at the Rhine River (S 17a). Postcard with airmail stamp sold by the Patriotic Women's Association to raise funds for the Dusseldorf orphans on the occasion of a private flight of L Z 9 Zeppelin on 20th April 1913. The cards were sold for 20pf and the special airmail stamps for 10pf. The military airship flew from Cologne, collected mail from Dusseldorf and flew back to Cologne. Mail was then forwarded by normal services.
