An Hermès black box calf leather Kelly bag, 1996, blind stamp Z, with gilt hardware, padlock fob and keys, with detachable shoulder strap, 28cm, 11in long CONDITION REPORT: Good condition, very faint scuff marks to front panel, closure flap and interior closure flap, and very slight rubbing at lower corners. Interior generally good. Looks little used.

A Chanel black quilted leather 2.55 bag in original box, 1980s, stamped to interior and numbered 0613722, with double chain strap and wine leather interior, 27cm, 10.5in long (2) CONDITION REPORT: Bag has been heavily used but cared for. Closure flap and lower corner edges with rubbing and scuffing. Interior is soiled and would benefit from cleaning, 'Chanel' stamp to interior leather is slightly rubbed. Leather in chain strap is rubbed and faded. 'CC' clasp has been polished and as a results gilding has faded. Box is scuffed with one torn corner.

Bible, Polyglot: Biblia sacra polyglotta, 1657 vols 1,2 and 4, edited by Brian Walton, three plans of Solomon's Temple and a double-page map of Jerusalem engraved by Wenceslaus Hollar Provenance: Kings College London stamp "this was the most accurate and best-equipped of the great polyglots" (Darlow & Moule). The printing of the work began in 1653, two presses being kept employed, and between 1654 and 1657 all six volumes appeared. Nine languages are represented in the work (including Persian and Ethiopic which had not been included in the three earlier great Polyglots), although no single book of the Bible appears in more than eight versions. "The polyglot Bible was regarded at the time of its appearance as a monument to the intellectual capacity of an English nation previously eclipsed by some of its European brethren. It was also a successful commercial speculation. Though not the first book printed by subscription in England it was one of the earliest and most ambitious" (DNB). A Joseph Lieban Notgeld album 1914-1924, with 647 notgeld tokens split into four sections for Germany, Austria, Factory Industry and Empire money, many differing designs and one token at the end is for 10 Billionen, with Lieban original label at end and postcard, in a ¾ titled album with handmade gilt end papers and ink stamp at the end (1) Notgeld is necessity money or emergency money issued during a time of economic or political crisis and where there is insufficient state money available. It was issued in Europe during the latter part of World War one and the Interbellum. Joseph Lieban was a Jewish merchant in The Hague specialising in emergency money and producing albums which could be purchased by collectors. The albums produced vary from the average to the impressive.
