ROYAL WORCESTER; a 'Fallen Fruits' cabinet display plate decorated by Thomas Lockyer, with hand painted pears and berries, gilt scalloped edge rim, signed lower right, diameter 23cm, puce back stamp dated 1924. CONDITION REPORT Rings trueNumerous small scratches to the paint, some kind of flaw or blemish lower left on the cavetto eight o'clock, similarly ten o'clock with similar effect visible in other parts of the plate, appears to have a residue applied and apparently coloured, can be felt with a fingernail above the surface of the plate, further scratches to the reverse, some rubbing and discolouration to the gilt detail.

CONDITION REPORT The finial on the lid has been repaired/re-painted. The inside of the lid shows areas where it has been glued and repaired. There is a newish chip to the rim. There are some wear to the outside of the body. Would benefit from a clean.
